“H-how do you know me?”I stuttered .
“Who wants to tell her?”The tallest asked.
“How about we all say it the same time.”The one who had tried introducing himself to me as Marcus before quietly suggested.
I waited patiently for them to speak.
“Lucy.”They started.”We’re your brothers.”
I blinked up at them.
My brothers?
“This is some kind of joke right?Or a plot to get back at Austin and his family ?”I finally asked when I could find my voice.
They snorted .”Like we would give Austin and his family that amount of attention ,our sole purpose in bringing you here was to tell you the truth.”
“I don’t understand , why wait till now to come find me and break the news to me that you’re supposedly my brothers.”
The tallest spoke again.”Because we only recently found out where you were this entire time , father hid the truth from us about your whereabouts , as soon as we knew exactly where you’d been all these years we wasted no time in sorting you out.Paid a visit to your old family , there we learnt that you’d gotten married to that son of a bitch.”
“Why should I believe you?”I asked , constantly reminding myself to breathe with this new information.
“We don’t have any reason to lie to you Lucy , how would us telling you that we’re your brothers benefit us in any way?Tell me you don’t feel the sibling connection between us ?We haven’t seen you in years and yet at first glance we knew it was you.Because you’re the print of our mother , you look exactly like her.”He said pulling out an envelope from his pockets , he reached inside it and pulled something out.
“Take a look.”He said handing it to me.
I stared at the photo in my hand in shock , he was right , I was the print of the woman in this picture.
My mother?
My actual real mother?
My hands trembled as I ran my fingers gently over the delicate photo , was I really looking at my mother?All my life I’ve wondered what she’d look like , she was stunning to say the least.
“You can ask us any questions and we’d answer them all.”He continued.
“What are your names?”
They seemed pleased at that question as slow smiles formed on their faces.
“Well I already tried introducing myself as Marcus before but you cut me off with that loud scream.”
I flushed.
“I’m Thane.”The blond haired one introduced himself , he was leaned up against the wall studying me intently .
“I’m nolan.”Another added , I dragged my gaze from Thane to look at him , he was surprisingly the most quiet with eyes strikingly similar to my own .He flashed me a dazzling smile and I couldn’t help but return it.
“I’m Luthais .” The shortest continued with the introductions , he seemed like the youngest of the five and the most sensitive at that too if I’d read him right.
“And I’m Ermanno.”The tallest said lastly .”We’ve waited our entire lives for this introduction Lucy .”
I felt my heart tug at his words as another thought suddenly crossed my mind.
“Are you werewolves as well?”
A shocked look crossed each of their faces at my question , as they gave each other confused glances .
“You know about werewolves?”Ermanno asked in a shocked whisper.
I nodded my head.”I found out yesterday that werewolves exist and that Austin and his family are werewolves as well.”
Thane’s gaze darkened .”Is that how you got that bruise on your forehead?”
Oh.
I almost forgot about that.
“Yes but-“
“THOSE MOTHERfUCKERS!”They shouted as they all rose up as if ready for a fight.”I’ll kill that bastard.”Ermanno shouted.
“What are you guys-“I started but none of them were paying any attention to me .”STOPPP!”
They finally turned to stare at me , seeming surprised at my outburst .
