Chapter 166 – Falling for the Last Lycan Novel

“I know. I am glad.”

Zuri was high out of her mind, she giggled and then kissed Khaos, licking his lips and bit on his neck. She looked very happy, but it was because of the drug in her veins, where she couldn’t even live without it.

“Light it up for me.” Zuri raised the packet and then made Khaos to burn it, letting the sweet white smoke twirled in the air, just like the shadow that surrounded Khaos. “They look beautiful together,” Zuri stared at the white smoke from the drug and the shadow.

“They are,” Khaos whispered, as he nibbled on her chin.

“I want more of it,” Zuri replied, she tilted her head to the side, so Khaos could get more access to taste her. “This makes me feel good. Give me more…”

Khaos stared at he for a while, it was hard to tell what was in his mind right now. “Sure, I will give you everything that you wanted.”

He caressed her cheek and pinned her to the bed.

Currently, they were inside the tent, while it was raining outside, the sound of rain would be able to muffle her moan and whimper, as both of them knew what would happen next if they continued.

“Remember that promised. You have broken one by letting them hurt me. You can’t keep breaking your promise to me.” Zuri touched his eyes. They were still the color of blood. “After all, I can’t live without the drug.”

“I know.” Of course, Khaos knew. He was the one, who had made that decision for her.

Zuri ran her fingertips on his face, touching him gently, but she fixed her gaze on his eyes.

Somehow, Khaos couldn’t get back the gray color of his eyes and he knew Zuri liked gray color because of the color of his eyes.

“Why? Disappointed?” Khaos asked when her touch lingered.

Zuri shook her head. “No, I like red. I like red color now, it is a beautiful color.” Zuri tilted her head and smiled beautifully while she said something very disturbing. “This is the color of blood. I like it. It is always excited me.”

On the other hand, Khaos simply stared at her. The shadow around him was crawling on the tent and on the ground, as if it was a creature on its own.

However, this creature was in control because since Khaos calmed down significantly after he had his mate back. Zuri was alive.

Right now, they were on their way to the Great Palace as they would occupy that place, which meant they would engage with the people from Great Lunar Kingdom sooner or later, since the Three Deadly Ways was always an area of conflict, it was a dispute land, since three decades ago.

“Do you love me? You love me, right? Zuri asked. “Do you love me so much, right?”

Zuri pushed Khaos and now she hovered above him.

“Yes, I love you.”

“You will do everything for me, right?” Zuri licked his neck and bit him.

“I will do everything for you.” Khaos put his hand around her waist to keep her stable, so she wouldn’t fall, as she bit her shoulder and licked the blood that oozed out from the wound before it healed almost immediately.

Khaos let her did whatever with him. He didn’t even flinch when Zuri’s claw traced his neck.

“Good. Good. Remember that.” And with that, Zuri kiss him again. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Don’t you dare to betray me. Do you understand?”

“I will never betray you.”

Zuri lifted her head, blood on the corner of her lips. Khaos stretched out is hand to wipe it away.

“Are you sure about that or are you just talking out of your ass?” Zuri licked his fingers, as she tasted his blood on it.

“I am very sure about that.”

Zuri grinned, she then tore Khaos’s shirt, as she kissed him hard. She was exceptionally aggressive tonight, she liked it when she hurt him and she got off with the pain.

“Harder…” Zuri whimpered, as Khaos took her from behind. “Bite me, Khaos… bite me. Ah!”

Zuri gritted her teeth when the pain and pleasure exploded within her. She grabbed Khaos’s hair, as he bit on the mark on her neck. It doubled the pleasure and Zuri came so hard, her whole body was shaking.

Droplet of blood stained the makeshift bed.

Gayle was staring at Zuri. He felt there was something different about her, even though he couldn’t tell what it was. He felt this strange vibe that came from her, as if this woman was someone else.

He knew that Zuri could be crazy. He knew that Zuri could be very aloof with her surroundings.

However, this was not how she used to act. She didn’t look like herself, probably because of the drug that she used right now. Dezgar had said this before that the drug could change your personality.

Yet, they couldn’t do anything about it, since the drug was the only thing that could keep Zuri alive. That was why, Gayle didn’t feel like he wanted to be around her very often. Because, needless to say, every time she was high, this tent would smell like the drug itself, the ominous white smoke would fill this tent with this very sweet smell in the air.

Gayle simply couldn’t stand it.

It made him lightheaded. Gayle hated it.

The gamma stared at Khaos, he couldn’t understand how the Lycan could stay conscious and focus with the amount of drug that surrounded him.

But then Gayle thought it must be because he was the Lycan. Khaos was very strong right now. This kind of drug wouldn’t affect him, right?

“Why are you standing there without saying anything?” Zuri frowned at Gayle. “If there is nothing else you wanted to say, you can leave.” Her eyes rolled back, as she giggled to herself. She stumbled when she approached Khaos and snuggled against him.

Gayle gritted his teeth. Zuri had occupied most of Khaos’s time and because of that, he didn’t think people were thrilled to be led by someone who was not in their right mind and was high most of the time.

It was still the point of contention among all the people within the rank, about the fact that Zuri was using drugs and it affected Khaos.

They didn’t like it. They thought this woman was not right for the lycan, but after they learned about what happened to Bryden and Ezra they shut their mouth up. They didn’t say a word about it.

Right now, Gayle was sure they followed Khaos, out of fear, not out of loyalty or respect toward the old dynasty.

There were so many things that changed after the completion of the beauty blood. Zuri felt off and Khaos was aloof.

“Why are you standing there like an idiot? What do you want to tell him? Quick, we need to have some alone time. Speak. What do you want to say to him?”

Gayle took a deep breath to calm his nerves, but it was a mistake since he would breathe the smoke deeply. He started to feel his head was light, therefore he needed to report it immediately to Chaos.

“Caidan has been asking for a meeting, Khaos. He has been wanting to see you in person.” Gayle glanced at Zuri before he continued to speak. “Mabel also asked for a meeting with you. I think they wanted an explanation for what happened to Ezra.”

Zuri waved her hand dismissively. “They knew what happened to Ezra and Bryden. Why they need to ask again? Don’t waste Khaos’s time. Khaos’s time, is mine to waste.”
