I remained silent as we walked towards the food court, it was massive and had over thirty different food stalls to choose from.
“What would you prefer?’ Koda asked as we walked past three girls who glared at me before leaning in closer to chat through the link, could they be any more obvious they were gossiping about us.
“I don’t mind” I answered and moved a little closer to him “What ever you want is fine”
“Alright then’ He commented, was he completely oblivious to everyone watching us? ‘How about Mexican, it’s one of my favorites”
“Okay” I nodded and he began pulling me over to the large festive-looking stall with a big line of customers waiting, the food must be good here “I’ve never had Mexican before”
“Seriously?” Koda looked down at me in surprise “Well, you’ll love it”
I went to go to the end of the line but Koda smirked and pulled me up to the front.
“Baby, this is our pack” He told me “My family own this entire mall, not to mention, this city, we don’t wait in lines, even guests visiting the city have to learn that we come first”
I looked away shyly as a grumpy looking witch crossed her arms as Koda moved in front of her.
“Hello Alpha Cody” A very pretty women smiled at him, and lent closer over the counter, but I growled before I could stop myself, and she jumped back in surprise.
Koda on the other hand, smiled and placed his arm over my shoulders.
“I hope you’re planning on greeting your Luna as well Maria?”

“Of course your majesty” She said quickly and looked at me nervously “Its very nice to meet you Luna, welcome to the pack”

She passed them over to Koda, and together we walked away to a large table surrounded by a red rope and a sign saying reserved for the royal family.
He pulled the rope up and gestured for me to go in and sit so I did and he followed after.
“Well that was hot” He said as he opened my coke bottle and placed it in front of me “I think I’m going to like you getting jealous of other women”
“I didn’t mean to growl at her, it just happened” I blushed and nervously took my coke “I didn’t mean to scare her”

I looked down at my coke, should I tell him now, just how powerful I really was, I looked around the food court, there were to many people here.
“Could we not talk about that in public” I asked quietly.
“Of course” He reached over and kissed me.

I pulled away from Koda and looked to my left to see Kia with two of her friends from our pack.. no.. this was my pack now.
She was wearing a short dress that she must have purchased in the city because I’d never seen it before and her and her friends were all holding bags.
“Kia” I said in annoyance as I stood up.
“What are you doing here?’ She asked ‘Why aren’t you with Alpha Troy and who is this man?”
I looked at Koda who raised his eyebrows at the girl and pointed to the sign on the rope.
Kia glared at him for a second before she read the sign, but then her face paled, and her friends looked nervously back at Koda
“This is Alpha Koda” I introduced him “This is Kia, she works for Alpha Troy and that’s, Lianne and Donna”
“Why are you kissing Alpha Koda?” She asked as she looked back at me.
“Why is it your business what she does?” Koda asked “Since when did werewolves have the right to pry into the lives of Lycan’s, especially in our capital?”
I looked at Koda, he seemed calm, but I somehow knew he wasn’t.

“Yes” Koda answered and sat back down “Now get out of my sight, you’re ruining my appetite for lunch”
“Yes sir” Lianne said quickly, and the girls began to leave.
“Stop!” Koda ordered and they all froze before looking back.
“I didn’t hear you say a proper goodbye to your Luna”
