“What’s wrong?” He asked quickly “Why are you linking me, is Madelyn okay”

I felt my eyes shifting, and my left eye began to glow as the portal opened up between us so Jax could see through me

I gasped and Jax began to growl when we saw her back, I felt like throwing up, she had 6 large scars crisscrossing her back, some thin while two were very large.
I shakily reached over and touched her back and she shivered and cringed forward and I quickly withdrew my hand
‘How… who did this to you?” I asked, although I knew it was Troy ‘Maddie, answer me” I ordered when she didn’t answer.

“I WANT HIM DEAD!” Jax shouted and I saw him pick up the bed in his cell and throw it at the wall, our link worked both ways, when he could see through my eyes, I could see through his

I slowly reached out again and ran my fingers down one of the scars and again Maddie cringed “Are there other scars on your body?”
“Yes”
I couldn’t breath, I lent down and kissed her back and she froze, so I kissed another one and then another before I pulled her shirt down and hugged her from behind, pressing my face into her neck
“No one will ever hurt you again” I told her “I’m so sorry Maddie, I’m so sorry we didn’t find you sooner, Im sorry he hurt you, we’ll keep you safe”
Maddie broke my heart as she began to cry, and I turned to her and pulled her into my arms and held her until she cried herself dry before I pulled back.
Maddie sniffed and looked up at me but then she gasped “Your eyes!”
“I’ve connected with Jax”
“Jax saw my back too?”
“Yes”
“So you’ve both seen how unattractive my body is?”
“WHAT!?’ Jax shouted and hurting my ears
“Nothing could make you unattractive to us” I told her firmly “You’re beautiful”
“You don’t have to say that’ She looked down “I know you’re lying, you don’t”
“I’m not lying” I gently touched her chin and lifted her face “You are the most beautiful woman we’ve ever seen”
She nodded but I doubted she believed me, we’d just have to prove it to her every day for the rest of our lives that she was beautiful
‘Baby.. why did he do that to you?”
Tears filled her eyes “He wanted me to hurt someone but I said no, so he hurt me instead”
“I see” I was fuming and Jax was practically clawing the walls of his cell
“I’m coming home” Jax announced angrily, and marched over to his cell door
“DONT!” I shouted at him “If you leave now, it’ll make things worse, and it would hurt Maddie if you had to spend another night in jail, just calm down, I’m taking care of her”
MADELNY’S POV
‘Baby.. why did he do that to you?” Koda asked me and I cringed at the memories
“He wanted me to hurt someone but I said no” I told him ‘So he hurt me instead”
“I see”
‘I don’t want to talk about it’ I told him quickly when he looked like he was going to ask me more questions
‘Alright’ He smiled and touched my face ‘Just know that you’re safe now and Jax and I will always take care of you’
“Why are you so nice to me?” I asked him in confusion “You barly know me, I could be monster for all you know”
‘Even if you are, you’re our monster’ He smirked and laid down with his arms out ‘Come here’
I hesitated for a second before going to him and he pulled my back up agaisnt his stomach while I pulled Jaxsons pillow closer and pressed my face into it while Koda hugged me from behind but he laughed and kissed the back of my head
“He’ll be home tomorrow”
“I miss him” I admitted “It’s crazy because I’ve only known the two of you for a few days but I… I can’t live without you now, I don’t want too”
