“Only half your majesty” He spoke in amusement “I will have to work harder”
“Answer the prince’s question!” Katsu ordered
“I only like to fight in self-defence” He said seriously “It goes against my teachings but I lost my mother during the last war and it’s my duty to avenge her so here I am”
“I see” I frowned, I couldn’t put my finger on it but something about this man bothered me “And what teachings are”
“Jax, Koda!” Cole interupted me through the link
“What?!”
“We have Troy’s daughter” He told us “She’s being brought to your parents”
“We’re on the way” Jax said quickly “Katsu finish up, we’re needed in the tower”
We ran from the arena and climbed into the car, both needing a shower after a day of fighting but that could wait.
While we drove back to the packs main tower I spoke to Jax about my strange feelings about Noland and it surprised me that he felt the same way.
“I got that too” He frowned “He seemed a little familiar but I couldn’t place him, have we met him before?”
“Not that I remember” I answered “He’s got some skills though, he’ll come in handy”
“What do you think about the rest?”
For the remainder of the drive, we talked about the days training and the plans we had to strengthen each individuals talents but when we reached the throne room we switched gears and focused on Troys spawn offspring who was kneeling in front of my parents crying softly
The girl looked like a complete mess, her hair was unkept, her clothes crinkled and she was shaking but what surprised me the most was the fact that Blake was standing by her side with her father looking very pleased with herself
“Good, boys, come in” My mother waved us in
We walked over and bowed to her parents before I looked over at Blake who smiled at me sweetly
“What’s going on?”
“I found her” Blake squealed happily “Are you proud of me?”
“Tone it down” Jaxson snapped “How did you even know who she was?”
“From daddies description of her” She answered, this time her tone a little subdued “I was out shopping with the girls and I saw her so I got my guards to arrest her”
“You did great Blake” I smiled at her
“Thank you” She looked up into my eyes but Flynn got uncomfortable and growled so I growled at her in warning and she lowered her gaze.
“I’ve proud of you baby” Her father smiled and touched her arm “But we will take it from here, why don’t you go home and your mother and I will take you out this evening to celebrate your quick actions”
“Okay daddy’ She nodded before bowing to my parents
“Come see me for tea sometime this week dear” My mother told her
“Yes your majesty, thank you”
Blake left the throne room looking very pleased with herself but Jax looked furious
“Somethings off about this” He linked me “Are we meant to believe that your ex just happened upon the one girl we were looking for?”
“You can’t just accuse her of sh*t because you don’t like her”
“What ever” He growled “You’re so f*cking naive, theres something about this situation that doesn’t sit well with me and it shouldn’t for you either, you’re a better stratagist then me, open your eyes”
“Are you two even listening!” Our father shouted and we both jumped a little in surprise when we realized he had been speaking to us
“Sorry your majesty” Jax and I bowed our heads
“I swear” Our father snarled “I should have had more children, that way I’d have at least one who wasn’t a complete disappointment!”
I forced myself to keep from growling, it was hard being an Alpha and still having to submit.
“Well it’s never too late” Jaxson commented “You and the Queen will have plenty of time to have more once your retire”
I pressed my lips together and nugged him as my stood up growled “IS THIS A JOKE TO THE TWO OF YOU!?”
“Darling sit down” Our mother rushed to our defence “Jaxson watch your mouth and do not give your father any ideas about more children, any babies joining this family will be my grandchildren, now all of you focus, you.. girl, give me one reason why I shouldn’t have you throne into our prisons!?”
“I didn’t do anything” She cried “I have nothing to do with what my dad and brother did, I didn’t know they were going to try to hurt Maddie, go get Maddie, she will tell you, I never hurt her”
“Do not give my parents orders” I told her “And you may not have hurt her yourself but you did let others, didn’t you?”
“Is that what she told you?” The girl asked “She’s lying”
“She hasn’t told us what you’ve done to her” Jaxson spoke up “Not yet but Koda’s right, isn’t he?”
“We may have had a few spats” Sky defended herself “But what siblings don’t, we grew up like sisters and sometimes sisters fight”
“And sometimes Queens get tired of hearing lies from children” My mother snapped “Reguardless of what you’ve done to Madeline, you are here because of your families betrayal, they are responsable for countless deaths, not to mention breaking Prince Fenrir out of prison”
“Which leaves you with one chance” My father continued “I want to know where your father is”
“I don’t know” Skyler shook her head as tears fell down her cheeks
“And why don’t I believe you?” My father stood up and came down the podium to the ground level “Where is your father!?”
“I don’t know”
Our father grabbed the girl by the throat and lifted her screaming and struggling from the ground “THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!” He shouted into her face “WHERE IS HE!?”
“I don’t know!” She wept and clawed at our fathers hand “Please, I don’t know’!’
“Then you’re dead!” The King shouted
“Darling wait!” My mother stood up quickly “Don’t kill her yet, we can use her as bait to lure him out and she may not know where he is now but she can give us information on her father and possible locations to check”
“Good idea” My father nodded and threw the girl on the ground “MAX!” He yelled out to the guard standing by the door who quickly came over to us and bowed his head “Take this half breed dog to the dungeons and have her tortured until I came down later to question her personaly and dog, if you don’t answer my questions when I get there, the torture I’ve already inflicted on you will be nothing compared to what I will inflict on you”
“Take her” My mother ordered and Max quickly scooped up the crying screaming girl and dragged her away.
