My eyes widened as Koda returned to the table, great, just what I needed, a second jealous mate.
“Attracted to who?” Koda looked around before starting back at me.
“I’m not attracted to him” I snapped and pulled away from Jax’s grip “I just”
To my horror, the man sniffed the air and turned towards us, his face went from confusion to delight and he came over.
“Your majesty’s” He bowed to the twins before looking at me “So, you’re Luna Madelyn, I’ve been looking forward to meeting you”
“And why is that?” Koda asked angrily and moved closer to my seat
The man looked confused and took a step back.
“The King and Queen didn’t speak with you?”
“Speak to us about what?” Jaxson asked with an angry huff
“I guess they forgot” He nodded “I’m Tyrone, Alpha of the Eton pack, your cousin”
“Her what?”
“My what?” I said at the same time as Koda.
Tyrone pulled up a chair and sat on it backwards, so he was leaning on the back section.
“Well technically, second cousins” He corrected “Your grandfather was my grandfather’s brother, my grandfather was the Alpha and yours was a white Lycan. He took off for the dragon wars, and we never heard from him again but the King got in contact with me a few days ago and told me who you were. It’s great to meet you, I lost my family years ago and I haven’t met my mate yet so I’m thrilled to have a cousin”
“So, is that why you smell so familiar?” I asked
“Must be” He shrugged and smiled “Your scent reminds me of my late father, must be a family thing, I can’t believe it, my little cousin, the future Queen, I hope you know, I don’t expect special treatment or anything, I just want a chance to get to know you, can we have lunch while I’m in the city?”
I gulped as I looked this man over, I had a family, I had a cousin, this was…. I didn’t know how to react.
“I..I need to use the bathroom” I stood up abruptly and turned to Koda who was still standing by my seat “Where is”
“I’ll take you” Evet quickly stood up too, she rushed around the table and linked her arm with mine and pulled me away.
“Are you okay?” She asked once we were in the private toilet.
I rushed over to the sink and wet my face as I trembled.
“I can’t believe this” I told her and I leaned against the basin “I have a cousin, I have family, I just… I don’t know how to.. it to overwhelming. I need time”
“I understand” She patted my back “You’ve been alone for so long, this must be such a shock, but cousins aren’t so bad, I mean, my suck, but yours might be okay”
I giggled at her fake insult about the towns and looked over at her
“Thanks” I exhaled “I just need a minute alone, if that’s ok”
“Sure, I’ll wait outside”
Once Evet left the bathroom, I took some deep breaths and used the facilities before leaving again.
This whole family situation had me reeling, I went from having absolutely no one, to having mates and now family in the span of just a few weeks, and it was all to much, so I was going to just enjoy the rest of the night and go from there.
Evet was leaning up against the wall, looking through her phone when I came back out, and she smiled as she stashed her phone back into her pocket.
“Feeling better?”
“Yes” I lied “Let’s get back”
“Before you go” Evet grabbed my arm “I just wanted to say how sorry I am for happened to you yesterday , I should have stayed by your side”
“Don’t be silly” I waved my hand in dismissal, though it was nice that she cared “It’s not your fault and look” I held up my hands “All healed”
“Still, I’m really”
“Evet!” A man called out and came over to us “Would you look at you, all grown up, and I must say, just a gorgeous as I thought you’d be”
“Go away” Evet snarled with venom “Seeing you, makes me want to throw up”
Evet then grabbed my wrist and went to pull us back towards the bar when he stepped in front of us.
“Who’s your little friend?” He smirked and looked me over, making me feel very exposed “She quite the looker too, maybe the three of us could go have some fun”
“No thank you” I said firmly and pulled up my hair to reveal the left side of my neck “I’m taken and not interested, excuse us”
“Pitty” He smiled and stepped in front of me again “You really are, quite a gorgeous little thing, have you ever been with an Alpha? If not, do you really want to turn down this opportunity?”
Evet laughed and shook her head “You are so scr*wed” She told him.
“Jax, Koda, some creepy Alpha won’t leave me alone”
“Coming!” They both said at once.
“The only scr*wing I want, is the three of us” He told us “Come on, your mate doesn’t have to know”
“Actually” I said with a polite smile and moved that hair on the other side of my neck, to show my second mark “I have two mates and they most definitely would need and want to know, they don’t like other men trying to touch me. Oh, and look” I pointed as the twins came down the hallway “Here they are now. Please move”
“You have some f*cking nerve going anywhere near Madelyn, Ezra!”‘Jax growled and his eyes darkened.
“Madelyn?” The man looked nervous now but still a little smug
“Get away from her!” Koda shouted and shoved him away from me before standing in between us
“So this is my Queen” Ezra looked me over once more l, completely unfazed by Koda’s aggression “I guess, you do know what it’s like to be with an Alpha after all, pitty” He added with a slight disappointed edge to his tone “Though, it’s good knowing you enjoy threesome”
Jax lost it and punched Ezra in the face, knocking him out, I screamed in surprise and held my hands over my mouth while Koda, quickly turned me around so I wouldn’t see anything, but it was to late.
“Jeremy!” Jax called to a guard “Take this filth to the prison for the night”
“Yes sir” He looked down at the huge alpha and sighed “Did you have to knock him out first, Alpha, this guys is going to weigh a tone”
Jax laughed, seemingly at ease again, were all men’s moods, so easily interchangeable.
“Tony, help him”
“Yes your majesty” another man came over to lift Ezra
