MADELYN’S POV
“Are you alright baby?” Koda turned me back as he looked me over “Did he touch you?”
I shook my head “No” I smiled and gripped hold of his jacket and moved closer “He was just a pig, who is he?”
“No one” Jax glared after him and I noticed that Koda’s face fell.
“Baby, if he comes near you again” Koda took my face in his hands and looked into my eyes with an extremely serious expression that he rarely wore “Link me and Jax immediately and call for your guards”
“If he’s no one, then why are you both so worried about him?’
The twins exchanged a glance but Jax smiled “He’s just some Alpha who used to p*ss me off growing up” He said but I got the feeling there was more to it “Lets get back to the others’
We walked back together and sat back with the others, I noticed my cousin smiling at me so I gave him a polite smile and looked at my hands.
‘We should celebrate the family reunion’ Cole announced.
‘If you want’ I smiled, still feeling very awkward, what would I even speak to this man about?
“DEAN!” Cole shouted over the music and chatter “A ROUND OF TEQUILLA!”
Dean gave me another strange look before he nodded and turned his back, I looked at Jax who smiled and kissed me “What’s Deans problem?” I asked through the link
Jax looked sad at my comment “He lost his mate a few years back, he doesn’t talk much but he’s a good guy”
“That poor man” I looked over at him and selfishly thought about how horrible it would be if I lost Koda and Jax and I stared back at Jaxson “I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you or Cody”
Again Jaxson looked sad and pulled me into his arms “You’ll never have to find out” He told me and pressed his face into my neck.
“What’s wrong?” Koda touched my shoulder in concern, but I turned and smiled before hugging him too
“Nothing” I answered as he held me, I only let go when one of the other bar tenders brought over a large tray of shots, salt shakers and limes.
“Luna, Dean said the black shot glass is yours”
“Such blatant favoritism” Evet smirked and winked as she took one of the shots and salt shakers “Smart man, to try and get in good with the future Queen though”
“I’ve never done tequila shots” I changed the subject “What are the limes for?”
“You take it after the shot” Alpha Archer told me
“How?’
“Lick, slam, suck” Jax brushed my hair back
“What?” I giggled “Lick, slam and suck, what?”
“Get your mind out of the gutter, Luna” Koda hugged me from behind and kissed my throat and I giggled again
“Here” Jax picked up the salt shaker “Let me show you”
He turned to me with an excited expression that I’d only ever seen in the bedroom and I felt butterflies start flapping around in my stomach and I gulped as he took the top of my dress and pushed it down so my collar bone was visible. He lent in and ran his tongue along my skin, leaving excited tingles run through my body and down between my legs.
After wetting the area, he shook some salt over the area and lifted the lime wedge “Open your mouth”
I was confused bylut did as instructed, and he placed the lime in my mouth with the peel facing inside, which confused me more.
“Close and don’t bite it” He smirked at me and, once again, I complied.
He then lifted the shot, looked at me, winked and licked the salt off my collar bone, leaving goosebumps behind, he then downed his shot and pulled my mouth to his, sucking the lime out of my mouth and into his.
I sat there, frozen and turned on by his actions. I wanted him to do that again. Luckily, I had two mates and Koda grabbed my wrist, licked it and added salt.
“My turn” He announced as he passed me the lime. I blushed and took it in my mouth, like I’d done for Jax and Koda preceded to lick the salt from my wrist and downed his shot before pulling me in and kissed the lime from my mouth, but unlike Jax, Koda, spat the lime out onto the table and pulled my mouth back to his.
We kissed as his hands ran into my hair and I forgot that there were others watching us, I forgot that we were in public, I forgot my own name and moaned into his mouth as a wet spot appeared in my underwear. It was only after he pulled back, looking c*cky that I remembered where I was, and I blushed bright red and looked down at my hands on my lap.
“Get a room” Cole rolled his eyes and took his own shot while the others laughed, but I only blushed redder
‘I intend too’ Koda said calmly as he looked me over, and I blushed and looked down at my hands
“Your turn, sweetheart” Jax kissed my cheek and held up the salt shaker and his arm, he licked and area on his forearm and held it up
I bit my lip shyly and added some salt while Koda lifted the lime and plopped it into his mouth. I quickly licked the salt from Jaxsons arm, took my shot and then turned to Koda as my mouth and throat burnt and kissed him to take the lime.
When I pulled back from Koda, my head swam and burnt and I closed my eyes for a second.
“Looks like my new cousin’s a light weight” Tyrone laughed and lifted his own shot glass “Cheers”
My eyes site started to go fuzzy and blur and my throat stung, so I touched it and moaned in pain
“Baby?” Koda touched my cheek “Are you okay?”
“Here” Jax passed me some water but when I went to grab it, I saw double and grabbed the air
“Geese” Cole laughed “She only had one shot”
“I… I don’t feel right” I admitted and held my head and closed my eyes again ‘My head hurts’
“Madelyn?” There was real panic in Jaxsons voice now, and he touched my forehead “She’s burning up”
I opened my eyes again and saw Koda pick up my shot glass and sniff it “This isn’t tequilla” He growled as his eyes widened and turned black
He stood up and his chair fell to the ground and the sound echoed over the music and I moaned and leaned into Jax holding my ears.
“SHUT THE MUSIC OFF NOW!” Koda growled with rage and everyone fell silent as the looked at us “DEAN, WHAT DID YOU GIVE OUR MATE!”
‘GUARDS!’ Jaxson shouted as Koda marched over to the bar with a group of guards behind him ‘You… take this to the lab and have it tested, I want to know what chemicals are in it’
The guard Jax pointed to, came over and Jax carefully put the shot glass on the plate that the lime had been on, and he passed it over
“Don’t leave until they’re testing it”
“Yes sir” He said and left quickly
“ANSWER ME!” Koda shouted as he grabbed Dean by the throat and slammed him into the wall “WHAT DID YOU GIVE HER”
“I feel really weird” I told Jax who knelt before me and cupped my face “Come with me, I want you to throw up, Cole, get a healer here now!”
