“Stop fighting, and I will!” Jax quietly yelled, into my face, as I struggled against his grip
“We have to take care of this now!” I argued “He’ll force this matter, and you know it!”
“I agree, but we have to be smart about this!” Jax told me “We need him to stop Fenrir, we can’t take over yet, you have to”
“What are you guys going?”
“Sh*t”
We looked up with wide eyes, and saw Maddie, standing there, looking confused, as she rubbed her eyes sleepily.
Despite this serious moment, I got excited seeing her, even with her messed hair, and adorable grumpy expression, at being woken up.
“Why are you fighting?”
“We’re not fighting” Jax said quickly, he grabbed my face, and used it to push himself off the ground, so I growled, and punched him in the shin, in retaliation, and he gasped and rubbed it.
“Jerk” He complained.
“We’re sorry, we woke you, baby” I got to my feet “Don’t walk over here, theres glass on the ground”
“Why are you fighting?” She asked again, as we carefully walked around the glass, and went to her.
“Koda was snoring all night, and he p*ssed me off” Jax lied “Let’s go shower”
Jaxson grabbed Maddie, and threw her up over his shoulder, and she squealed, and giggled ‘Ahh, put me down!”
“No” Jax spanked her, and she giggled, and swatted his butt “You owe me, after what you and Koda did last night, without me”
“It wasn’t my fault” She declared, as she tried and failed to get off of Jaxson’s shoulder ‘Koda seduced me”
“Yeah right” I laughed “Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t that you, begging me not to stop, last night?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about” She smirked at me, as we went through the bedroom “Now, stop trying to distract me!” She complained, as we reached the bathroom, and Jax placed her back onto her feet “Why were you really fighting?”
“Don’t worry about it, baby” I pulled off my clothes, while Jax, turned on the shower.
“How are you feeling?” Jax asked Maddie, who was glaring at us with her arms crossed “You feel warm”
She growled and swatted him away “I’m fine, the bed was warm”
“He meant, how you feel about everything with your father?” I pointed out
“I said I’m fine!’ She snapped and glared at us “Why are you keeping things from me? I’m apart of this family too now, it’s not just the two of you!”
I smiled, and wound my arms around her “I love hearing you say, you’re family”
I leaned in to kiss her, but she placed her small hand on my face, to stop me “Nice try, tell me!”
“Look, sweetheart” Jax came over to her, as she glared at him “We are having an argument with your father, and we were having a slight disagreement about how to deal with it’
“What are you arguing with him about?” She asked, as Jax started to pull off his pj bottoms “Is it about me?”
“Why would you ask that?”
“Because you didn’t want to tell me”
“It’s not about you” Jax lied “It’s just an Alpha situation, so please put it out of your mind”
“I don’t like you two fighting”
“We won’t fight anymore, promise” I told her “Well, as long as Jax, learns not to be an ass”
Jaxson growled and glared at me, before pushing me out of the way, and grabbed the sides of her nightgown “Anyway, can we shower now?”
He didn’t wait for her to answer, he just pulled her clothing off, before pulling her in and kissing her.
Jax managed to seduce Maddie in the shower, and the morning took a very pleasant turn. I didn’t want to let her go, but when I tried to prolong the morning shower s*x, she refused, stating that she was hungry, so we let her out of the bathroom.
“We are going to talk about this” I snapped at Jax, when we went in the walk-in to dress “Don’t think, I’ve changed my mind, I want this handled!”
“Keep your f*cking voice down, or link me!” He snapped and looked towards Maddie’s walk-in “We’ll talk about this in private, at the office, just let it go for now, okay”
“Okay, fine” I snapped, and went to get dressed.
Maddie came out wearing a flowing green dress, with short sleeves “You look beautiful”
“Thank you, I know I do” Jax commented, as he pulled on his jacket.
“You wish” I rolled my eyes, and walked over to Maddie’s jewelry, and grabbed a pretty necklace “Pull your hair up”
She smiled, and blushed lightly, but did as I’d asked, and I latched the necklace around her throat, before kissing my mark.
“Thank you”
There was a soft knock on our door, and Jax frowned, as he went to open it.
“Good morning Alpha” Molly greeted him
“Why are you bothering us?”
“Jaxson, leave her alone” Maddie snapped at him “Is everything okay, Molly?”
“I just.. I thought I’d come, and help Luna get ready for her day”
“Madelyn’s capable of dressing herself”
“I thought I’d help with her hair” She smiled nervously “I’ve noticed that the Luna always leaves it down”
“Oh” Maddie blushed, and touched her loose hair “Um.. you can do it, if you like”
“Yes” She smiled happily, and rushed over to Maddie “Please sit, Luna”
Jax and I smiled “We’ll leave you to it, baby”
Jax and I went to eat, and waited for Maddie, who came out a few minutes later, with her hair pulled up into an elegant high braid, with green clips, that matched her dress.
“Stunning” Jax smiled
