“Who cares” Koda shrugged “Hopefully someone he p*ssed off finally showed him his place, do you”
The door opened and Ryker peeked out “Come in”
I looked at my brother and rolled my eyes, as we walked in. Our parents were standing together linking and holding hands while Ryker went back over to the bed and sat down in a chair. Ezra was sitting up in bed with two black eyes, a broken nose, busted lip and a lot of bruises and cuts over his face, arms and top of his chest, that was visable through the gown.
“Don’t you look good” I smiled “Someone’s husband finally caught up with you?”
“Your uncle actually” Ryker answered.
My eyes widened and I looked back at Ezra “What happened?”
“Fenrir sent him a message to meet” My father answered “When he arrived, Fenrir told Ezra that he want’s him to take Troy’s place, but to stay in the city and spy on Madelyn and pass on information about her, but when he refused, Fenrir attacked him”
“Bullsh*t” I snapped “What ever cr*p he told you, he’s lying”
“Also, you knew where Fenrir was, and failed to tell us. What makes you think you’re not going straight from the hospital to the prison!” Koda shouted.
“He threatened my sister” Ezra told us.
“What ever” I spat “I don’t believe you, show us the note or text he sent you that proves what you’re saying”
“What really happened with Fenrir” Koda added.
“I told the King and Queen what happened”
“Are you aware that Maddie can take peoples memories” Koda asked, and I watched Ezra’s face shift and look nervous “Because we can bring her in here and take the memories of your little meeting, and we’ll have the truth”
“After what she’s just been through, do you really want her to see Fenrir beat me?” Ezra asked.
Koda growled, and grabbed him by the throat “Don’t try and manipulate us” He warned.
