“Sure Bree, I can take us to school tomorrow, no problem,” I told her.
“You can go out with us when we go out for a little while before we leave today. We can all ride together.” Tate tells Dixon.
“Dixon nods at Tate and says, “I would love to ride with you guys”.
“Sure, that would be great, let me message Brax to see if he wants to come with us too, the more the merrier,” I told the boys.
I heard squeals again and turned to see Nicole and Jessica step out of the packhouse and up to the Jeep. “Bree told us you got a new Jeep and are driving us to school tomorrow. I love it, Jade!” Nicole says.
“I agree it is the cutest Jeep ever,” Jessica says.
“Girls, Jeep aren’t cute, they are tough,” Dixon tells them.
Nicole, Jessica, and Bree all just roll their eyes. The Pack door opens, and Alpha Andrew and Luna Monica step out, followed closely by Bryan and Audrey, and they all look at the new Jeep. “Nice Jeep Jade,” Luna Monica tells me.
I just motioned to dad and Luna Joy and said “Thanks! Mom, dad, and my brothers got it for me. So, I can travel back and forth between packs and visit them,” and I realized that I had called Joy mom, and I turned to her and said, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to overstep or assume that it would be OK to call you mom without asking. It just seemed right after our conversation this morning”.
Luna Joy comes to me and wraps me in a hug and says, “Of course, you can call me mom, it would be an honor”. Dad comes up behind us and gives us both a hug.
Dad tells them “Since we have missed every birthday, Christmas, and every celebration where she would have gotten something, and all that was kept away from her at Howling Wolf, I just wanted to do that for her and keep her safe, so she got the Jeep. It is from all four of us, and we were all in agreement on it. The Ducati’s were for all three of them for their 18th Birthday, with Tate getting his 6 months early so they could all ride together today. Joy and I are glad to have been able to do that for them. The boys already have a Jeep in our pack, so it is only fair”.
“It is a cute Jeep and I know why the girls are going ga-ga over it,” Aubrey said. “We weren’t questioning why, we all pretty much knew why, it was a wonderful thing to do, and I know she loves it too. You are right, she will be safer on the highway in the Jeep when she travels alone”.
Alpha Andrew and Luna Monica grin at me and Luna Monica says, “I hear you got voluntold that you were driving to school tomorrow by Bree?”
