Tyler gets off his bike and gives me a tight hug until I stop crying and shaking, I am still scared, but I know with the guys here that I am safe right now.
“I am so sorry Tyler, this is all my fault, I should have stayed at the restaurant. I am so sorry”. I tell Tyler
“No, you asked that ass to stop, and he kept pushing. It is Asher’s fault, but while we are here you need to be with one of us or Mason at all times. Do not take off from us again. I am not letting that douche get another opportunity to get anywhere near you again. If he had driven off with you, we might never have found you again. I am going to take care of Eric. He is going to get paid back for all that he has put you through.” Tyler tells me.
“Tyler, Eric knows that I am the white wolf, he said that he was going to mark and mate me, against my will. I don’t feel safe here anymore with him here. He knows who I am, and he said he would make sure that Rogue Alpha wasn’t going to get me, but that I was going to make him and the pack stronger, and produce him, strong heirs”
“Dixon mind link your sister and tell them we found Jade, and that we are headed to the Rental and that they can take either one of the Jeeps to go get groceries, that Jade won’t be able to do it, and for her to get some breakfast tea for Jade, it might help her calm down. Mom always makes us hot tea, with milk and sugar when we are sick, I will make Jade some. Jade’s shopping list is on the kitchen island, and both sets of keys are hanging on the key hanger near the garage. Tell them to get something easy to make for tonight, as I don’t think that Jade will be able to cook tonight, and I don’t know if any of them can”. Tyler barks out instructions.
“Jade, can you ride your bike? Or do you need to ride with one of us? We can come back to get your bike”. Tyler asks me.
“I can do it Tyler. I can drive it.” I tell him. I am ashamed, I caused this whole thing by being childish and running away. I knew Eric and his goons were around town and I still took the chance. I could have been raped, or worse. I start shaking again. I go ahead and tie a knot in the back of Brax’s t-shirt, so it won’t rise up as I ride and expose my breasts and get on my bike. I fire it up and put my helmet on and the guys ride around me as we head back to the rental.
I get a call from Mason, letting me know what happened to Jade. He was pissed. She was almost kidnapped, and it was mostly my fault for pushing her to run off. They wouldn’t stop pushing me though, I felt like everyone at the table was attacking me and weren’t even going to listen to me about Jade is the only one for me. I love her, I want her, I am going to prove to her that I am her mate and will always take care of her. She just needs to give me the opportunity to prove that to her. I will stay on the straight and narrow, I am not even looking at other women anymore. They don’t interest me at all, since I have locked eyes with Jade and the bond started, I can’t think of anyone else but her. I followed Mason back to their rental house at a distance, when we left the restaurant, so I know where they are staying now. I just need to be able to talk to her to show her how sincere I am about being her one-and-only. She is it for me and I won’t let her go, she is my mate and I love and want her, and only her, for the rest of my life. I just have to convince her of that, and I know it is easier said than done.
It was probably not a good idea to show up at their rental house unannounced, but if I did let them know I was coming, I know they would probably all leave. I have to hope that since the bulk of them are from my pack if worse comes to worst I can Alpha Command them to calm down to listen to me, but it won’t work on the other three guys. They don’t look like pushovers either so, it could still go badly for me. I have to show her that I am all in with her and just beg her for a chance. I don’t mind proving myself, and that I am not the man I used to be. I am hoping that this will work and that it is one of my pack members that will be opening the door for me as I ring the doorbell.
“What do you want?” I hear and look up to see Dixon.
“I would like to speak to Jade, please. I am not here to argue, I just want to see that she is ok, and to speak with her for just a little bit. I would like for her to give me a chance to win her heart”. I tell him.
“I don’t know that she is up for visitors right now. She is very upset and has had a hard day. I don’t think this is a good idea. How about you talk to her later this week, or when we get back to the pack Asher?” Dixon tells me.
“I won’t stay long, and I will do my best not to upset her, but I need to see her Dixon. I have been worried about her all day. I know she had another run-in with those Morons, and I just need to see her and make sure that she is ok. Please, Dixon.” I ask him.
“Five minutes, and if she asks you to go, you are going to go, no argument” Dixon replies.
