I hear laughing coming from the group and I turn to look over and see Braxton laughing and bent over double as he tries to take in a breath. He finally stands up and looks at Ashley as he says, “Girl, I slept with you before Asher did, and you were no more a virgin then than you are now. So, stop your lying and get out of here. It is not going to work with any of us. You need to tread carefully as the next thing that will happen is you and your family will be banished. I hope you warned them that you may cost them everything as they will have no place to go or stay when you get them banished, and we both know you will. Let Asher go, he doesn’t want you. Go find yourself another victim, as there is no one for you at Stone Moon anymore, you have slept with all the men you can try to catch one. Well, the ones willing to sleep with you, that is. How is that working for you anyway, huh? Any takers?” Braxton says and then goes back to laughing again.
Ashley looks furious at Braxton, then back at Asher before she turns to Jade.
“I had him before, I will have him again, it is just a matter of time”. Ashley says before quickly walking off towards her vehicle.
“Don’t hold your breath Ashley”, Asher calls out after her. “There is nothing that can happen to possess me to ever be with you again. I should have just banished her, instead of the Alpha Command. I just didn’t want to banish her without speaking to dad, as he is technically still the Alpha, and I didn’t want to overstep. I need to mindlink dad and tell him what just happened so he can speak to her parents before she gets them all banished from the pack. I know dad would agree with it, I just didn’t want to banish them without the whole family being warned, so they can speak to Ashley before she costs them everything”. I say to the group.
“I guess she is just too busy sleeping with as many people as she can, she didn’t realize that you knew when you slept with her last. Maybe she should keep a notebook so she can keep up with all her slutty adventures” Bree says, and burst’s out laughing.
I am glad to see that Jade relaxed after I told Ashley that I knew that she was lying. Thank the Goddess I didn’t sleep with her that first night we got to Havasu. Aries told me not to, and I was tired and stressed out because I had scented Jade, and then took off on her, and I had felt guilty about leaving Jade at Stone Moon. I hadn’t actually slept with anyone, since the night of the Gamma Ceremony, and that date had been scheduled before I even knew about the Gamma Ceremony. I am kicking myself for not going now, I could have met Jade sooner, and I do not have a doubt that once I looked into her eyes, nothing else would have mattered. I know I would have been done for, and it really wouldn’t have mattered to me what she looked like at that time. Jade is perfection for me right now, and even 50 lbs. bigger, or fully pregnant with our pups, she will always be perfect in my eyes.
“Jade, I have not slept with anyone for over 2 months. Not since the night of the Gamma Ceremony. Not since well before I knew you were my mate. I promise you that from now on, it is only you. You are perfection in my eyes, and I cannot imagine me being with anyone else. I am sorry that I didn’t wait for you, I love you no matter what your size is, and I look forward to you growing large as you carry our pups, if you decide to accept me, and become my Luna.
We all left in our vehicles and went back to the rental house to make dinner and for them to get ready for bed. We all sat around the fire pit after dinner and made smores for dessert. It was a great night, and I really didn’t want to leave. Jade walked me outside and to my SUV. I asked her if I could kiss her goodnight. She nodded yes to me, and I swooped in and pressed my lips to hers. They were so soft, and she kept her mouth closed as we kissed, but I felt the tingles as our lips touched. I pulled away from her and asked, “Was that your first kiss, Jade?”
“No, Eric kissed me once on our date, but that was my first kiss. This is my second kiss.”. I told him.
“Can I kiss you again Jade?” Asher asked her.
“Yes”. I breathlessly tell him.
I lean into Jade and turn her towards my SUV, putting one arm around her and pressing into her, letting her lean her back into the side of the SUV. I feel the tingles from the contact with Jade running up my arm. I tilt my head and start to kiss her again, licking her bottom lip and asking for access, which she did not understand. So, I nipped her bottom lip, and when she opened her mouth to gasp, I slid my tongue in and drew it along her tongue. She tasted sweet, like the smores that we had just made. I get more excited in our kiss and put my other arm across her back and pull her even tighter into me feeling the tingles increasing and going deeper with the kiss. She is all that I can think of, and this kiss is just amazing. I am so excited at finally being able to hold and kiss her, I love the feel of her in my arms and the tingles that I know that we are both experiencing. Her response to me grows as I continue to kiss her, and she moans into my mouth. She breaks away from me gasping in the air with her chest heaving as she tries to catch her breath. She smiles up at me and I continue to just stand there hugging her. This, this is everything to me and I suddenly realize why my mom’s seat in dad’s office is always in his lap. I plan on doing the same thing with Jade, and I smile as I think about that. She makes me so happy, and I hope I never have to be without her. She sees me smiling and smiles back up at me. I realize that this is the happiest that I have ever been, and I cannot wait to mate and mark her as mine. It is only going to get better for us, and I am looking forward to that.
I give her another quick kiss as I don’t want to get worked up to go back to the hotel alone, but I already know I will have to calm myself down in the shower tonight. I have never been so turned on in my life. All we did was kiss, it doesn’t even make sense, I have done a lot in the last few years, but nothing compares to what it felt like with Jade. She is special, our bond is special, and it will only get stronger. I cannot imagine how good it will feel to be together when we are fully mated and marked. I feel like if I don’t put the breaks on now, I will just want to continue on and just lose my control when it comes to Jade. I rest my forehead against hers for a few minutes and try to calm my breathing down. We just stand there together arm in arm hugging each other. I am completely relaxed and calm. She makes me happy, I never thought that I wanted a mate, but I obviously do. She means the world to me already and I don’t care who knows it.
“I will see you, tomorrow baby,” I tell her and wink at her. She smiles back at me and goes back into the house. I cannot wait for tomorrow to get here and see her again.
