“I guess I know why it was that bad.” I hear Maleena say behind me. I look up to see three women walking down with slu*ty outfits on. I keep walking up the stairs and the first two pass me. The last woman shoulder checks me so hard I stumble down the stairs. It doesn’t help that I have had three drinks and my body feels like it was hit by a semi truck. I can feel her hatred and jealousy and just when I can reign in Fen from tearing this woman’s throat out Maleena jumps in.
“Hey Tramp, watch where you’re walking! You just ran into your Luna!” Maleena yells. I see the front doors open to reveal Markus and the Gamma walking in probably from training.
“She isn’t MY Luna. She doesn’t even share the King’s bed.” The b*tch says smugly, glancing back at me. “And I would watch who you are talking to, little girl. Because at the rate I am going I will be Luna. And once that happens I will not hesitate to have you killed.” The b*tch says threateningly to Maleena. Fen and I lose it. I grab the b*tch by her throat and pick her up, letting her dangle in the air.
“You don’t disrespect me and threaten my sister b*tch. I should kill you for what you’ve done. ” I say in a deadly tone then throw her against the stairs. She smacked her head, but she doesn’t seem to care. She stands up anyway.
“You can’t kill me, the king won’t let you. I am his favorite, I will be his Queen, not you. And when that happens I will have you and your little sister here beheaded.” She says full of hate. I just laugh. She is disgusting. I spit on her and went to walk up the stairs. She grabs my arm and yanks me back. I catch myself before I fall then Fen takes over and starts punching her in the face. She stumbles back and hits the stairs again. Before Fen could kill her I force back control. I take the b*tch by her hair and start dragging her up the stairs to Alarick’s bedroom. She is clawing my hands but as she claws them Fen is healing it. The b*tch is screaming at me telling me to let her go. Calling me nasty names.
Finally we reach the Alpha floor and I find his room. I kick in the door and throw the tramp in his room.
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?” He screams as he sees his playtoy’s state of a bloody mess.
“I told you I will not be disrespected by your wh*res. Fix it now.” I say in a deadly manner.
I see Markus, Gamma Garret and Maleena run up behind me. The king looks at me then at his wh*re.
“I told you the punishment for breaking the contract.” He says to her. She looks up at him and starts begging.
“NO! Please don’t kill me. You love me! I am the one that will be queen!” She says as she starts sobbing. I see him snarl before starting.
“I told you it meant nothing Larissa, I don’t know why you couldn’t get that through your thick skull. Larissa Bethrode from this moment you are banished from this pack and are considered rogue. Get out.” He says and she gasps and starts crying. Gamma Garret came and grabbed her and started leading her out. Alarick looks at me and I nod my head and turn around to walk out. Maleena looks at the King and speaks up
“How could you treat your mate like that? She is supposed to be your Queen. Not some person that you can disrespect by sleeping around and treat as nothing. Not even take into consideration you are hurting her. You should be ashamed of yourself!”
“MALEENA PETROVICH! I yell. GET YOUR A*S MOVING NOW!” She turns to look at me and runs down the stairs to my room.
“I will take care of it.” I say looking back at Alarick then walk away.
Alarick’s POV
“What the hell just happened?” I ask Markus. I am so confused right now and the little yelling from that child didn’t help.
“Well Larissa physically assaulted LeeAca and threatened her sister. Leeaca snapped and started to beat the sh*t out of her. Then came up here and you know the rest…. It was kind of badass.” Markus answered, giving me the short version. I just looked at him and sat down on my bed running my fingers through my hair. So that was her sister that yelled at me. She better take care of it, because it will not happen again. She is lucky that I was startled by what was going on. I didn’t even register she was yelling at me till LeeAca told her to leave. “LeeAca is really something else.” I hear Onin say.
“Onin? Why do you do this? You don’t talk to me when I talk to you, yet you come out whenever SHE is around. What the hell man.” I ask, getting frustrated with everything going on.
“I have told you already. For some reason she makes me want to come out and talk. She is intriguing.” He says defensively. I just huff and fall back on my bed staring up at the ceiling.
What the hell is going on? I ask myself.
LeeAca’s POV
I walk back to my room and wash my face and arms then change. I walk back out to see Maleena sitting on the patio staring into the forest. I walk out and join her, leaning on the railing looking at the forest.
“Maleena, what you did was very disrespectful to the King. You are lucky that he was in such a state of confusion when you said it.” I start.
“How he treats you is no right. You are his mate and he goes and has a foursome with three other women. He shouldn’t be doing that even if he doesn’t know you are his second chance, Ace. It is wrong.” She says, still looking at the forest. I can feel her sadness and slight anger.
“The King and I have a deal, Maleena. You won’t understand it, but it is better this way.” I say
“Better for who LeeAca? You dropped to the floor because you were in so much pain. I have never, not once, seen you even flinch from pain. Now you are collapsing from what he is doing to you.” She argues.
“I will not talk about this, Maleena. We still need to talk about why you are here.” I say changing the topic.
“I told you already. Dad was supposed to call you and tell you.” She said getting upset.
“Well he didn’t Maleena. So I need you to tell me. What is going on with you?” I ask.
“Dad decided he couldn’t handle me alright.” She says, sighing.
“What do you mean?” I ask. Already having a feeling of where this is going.
