“Come I’ll show you walking to the side he stops in front of a concrete rectangle shape a little bit high above the ground and tilting to the left he can not be serious.
“My bed tada” I don’t know what he thinks a bed is but this ain’t it. Looking at my scrunched face he adds
“Come I’ll show you” he walks up to it and lies on the thing easily.
Again I repeat he can not be serious.
“Come lie with me” I stare at him like he had grown another head, how could he say it easily?
The thing looks big enough to contain two people but I’ll have to be close to him for that.
“I won’t bite” he teases “when will an Alpha ask you to rest under the moonlight with him?”
I roll my eyes with a shrug, I lie with him, his hand my pillow, his beautiful smell of citrus calms me, his body heat making me warm as we lie comfortably in the silence.
“What’s that?” Jaden asked, touching my closed hand.
I open it up, the emerald and chain glowing under the moonlight I sniffle holding back tears.
“It was my dad’s his last gift to me on my 11th birthday, the only thing I had left of him, I miss him with every fiber within me”
It’s wrong I’m opening up to him, I know it but I don’t stop.
“If he was here he’ll definitely wipe away my tears goddamn if he were here I’ll not be a miserable slave”

“Everything will be fine” he mutters and I doubt it nothing ever has been and recently it looks like nothing will be.
“Stay away from Dimitri” he says, cutting the silence and peaceful thing we had going between us, he had nothing to worry about though Dimitri was just a mistake I wish I had never encountered.
“Why should I” I ask anyway knowing how high his jealousy rate is, it’s really pathetic that he doesn’t want me neither does he want anybody to have me maybe it’s because I bruised his manly ego not being on the list of girls he’d swept of their feet and he was dying to add me to that list tch!
“He’s not a good guy” he answers bluntly, almost making me laugh. I sit upright looking at him a bit offended, getting a sudden urge to defend Dimitri.
“Who are you to decide that ” I huff, yes, Dimitri had hurt me, made me weak, played with my emotions but Jaden had done worse.
“You’re right I’m in no position to say that ” he apologizes and I’m taken aback did Jaden Perry just accept his error. Where had Jaden gone? And who was this imposta.
“Now come back I’m freezing without your warmth.” I know he wasn’t lying. I felt it too, he had shielded me from the chilling night wind, I lied back needing his warmth too.
Giving me a kiss on my forehead he places his head on mine.

“Ughh” I whine at the sound of the goddamn birds disrupting my sleep and the blazing sun I felt I was melting underneath.
I was sweating profusely, and not just because of the sun, it was as a result of Jaden’s weight draped on top of me almost suffocating me. The man weighed a ton.
I pushed him off me roughly squeezing my way out.
He groans his features uneasy lips in a deep scowl I could tell he was not an early riser, he looked so beautiful under the sunlight, his gold locks hair falling on his face shimmering under the sun rays and somehow he had removed his shirt while I was asleep
He had a beautiful body, the body of a warrior. There was a scar on his left chest.
Instinctively, I touch it passing my hand along the path it had been tatted I could feel his heartbeat he was in a deep slumber making me bolder I trail my hand to his second side softly circling his tiny nipples he rumbles and I stay still only moving when he doesn’t advance to awaken.
Loving the thrill of assaulting his body while he sleeps I crouch my hand lower, dropping my hands on his abs then I notice a bulge lower I gasp his morning erection underneath his black pants.

“Use you?” He said sounding a bit hurt “you were with me thinking of another, how do you think I feel pleasuring you and you moaning out his name, you know how badly I wanted you” he’s now standing close way too close my body tingling from his enraged eyes I’m sure he feels it too when he kisses me full on the lips pinning me behind the ladder, his tongue hot on mine, I suck in a breathe as the familiar electricity burns within me
“God Hailey what are you doing to me” he pulls away looking at me differently with softer eyes. ” Meet me tonight close to the forest I’ll be waiting for you” before I could utter a word he left me in my frenzy state, my heart pounding so hard in my chest I felt it could explode.
“Hailey” Jaden calls out, watching me closely I compose myself pulling a smile.
“Alpha” I greeted with a bow then left swiftly to avoid him noticing my flushed state.

I head to my room, astonished what the fuck!?
First Jaden rejects us now he’s nice then Dimitri wants me to see him after acting like a jerk.

I’m Frozen in place feeling I just stepped into the wrong room, I had expected to come to see the stupid mess but it had been cleared up and the room was spotless.
Closing the door behind me, feeling I had walked into a prank minding my every step.
The cupboard was closed, opening it. I duck low expecting something to jump at me when nothing does. I stand up right to see it’s been arranged with new clothes.
How… stunned I asked, through my hand through the soft materials.
They were more than the first, smelling of new linen and Jasmine sliding the last cloth I saw into two boxes, one of which I recognize as one I kept in my old necklace and a new one way different.
Opening it I suck In a breath awestruck.
It was an emerald green necklace but unlike my father’s shaped like a year drop this one was of a flower.
I glazed my fingers on the flower
Jaden.. I whispered, overwhelmed, this was a real thoughtful gift I noticed a note underneath it.
Because you remind me of Jasmine.
So this was all this was about. It had been Jaden all along. Somehow I knew it but couldn’t come to face the truth. I blink back happy tears picking up the chain it twirls in the air shimmering under the light source.
I absolutely loved it, placing it back. I see the old box opening. I see the broken one and its pieces reminding me it’s payback time dropping both necklaces as I close the cupboard exiting the room plotting as I walk by.
I go to the store room grabbing a glue and then the kitchen for food coloring.
The chef looks at me weirdly but doesn’t utter a word. It was payback time.
Riley had left the room wearing a bathrobe I sneak past her into the clean bathroom it was a lovely place smelled of lavender buy I didn’t come all the way to enjoy the smell hurrying I opening all the cupboard and shelves
