Managing to climb down the bed with quivering legs I return to my room undoing all the changes that had been done to my appearance with a long cold bath.
I was pacing in my room, no one had knocked, it had been for hours since they asked me to clean anything even when I tried to, I was dismissed.
The free time was a waste because I ended up going out again and returning with the same result.
I jumped a little when I heard the door open but I was glad finally I hated the job I was used to and my hands were just itching to get busy.
But like always my expectations are caught with the legendary Alpha Jaden.

His face slumps a little but he recovers quickly maintaining his unreadable features.
“What’s with the sudden change”
I don’t reply. I’m not in a position to be angry at him.

“Jaden, I’m tired,” I said weakly.
“I’m sorry I had things to tend to” he apologizes raising his hand to touch the side of my face but I pull back.
“Then please go attend to them,” I say firmly, not meeting his eyes feeling a sudden phobia of being around him.
“I need you to come back with me Hailey the way you need me…
“No” I stop him.
“I prefer to stay here not getting high hopes that are cut off without as much as a little remorse” I finally admit hugging my hands around myself.
“I need you to listen to you” he steps closer I push into his chest I was stuck between the wall and the man.
“That’s all I’ve been doing, it’s only led me this far” I begged.
“It’ll only get better from now on”
“Or worse” I correct” the rumors have started and I see the way people look at me”
“Ha,” he chuckles, leaving me puzzled.
“What does it have to do with us?” he leans into me, holding my gaze.
“Everything” I breathe gulping.
“I know you feel what I do, I can read it in your eyes, you’re a transparent soul to me I can hear your heart” sliding his hand gently on my arm to prove his point my body shivers from the touch and I feel light-headed.
“You’ll come with me” trailing kisses down my neck not waiting for my response. I can’t even talk, I just stay mute holding his abs as support as he does wonders to my body with slight touches.

“Now the final touch” dangling the necklace by my side I see him in the mirror he unclasps the hook sliding it slowly around my neck.
I touch the flower emerald necklace resting at the swell of my breasts, it still feels like a dream.
