Life’s Spiced Up with Some Werewolf Reads

Chapter 69 – Alice the Reluctant Luna

“Alice, I can’t deal with those new girls, they are refusing to leave for the party.” She huffed.

“Why?”

Some girls from Adam’s pack had chosen to stay as their families wouldn’t accept them, even though Rick was fine to take them in. We didn’t force them to go back.

If they felt comfortable here, they were most welcome to stay.

“They are saying they are ruined and nobody would welcome them.”

“What? This is ridiculous!” I frowned.

I walked into the hostel of the unmated wolves. It was like a college dormitory. Five omegas were huddled in a room. They bowed low and almost prostrated before me.

“I heard you have refused to come down to the party. What’s wrong?”

The girls cowered, then one of the brave ones said.

“We were dishonoured by the rouges. Even our families refused to accept us, we can’t be part of the celebration. We will be shamed.” She said in a low voice.

“I am sorry you had to suffer that trauma at such a young age, but why would you be shamed? Did anyone say something to you?” I asked gently. These girls were scared and vulnerable.

“No, madam Luna, everyone has been very kind to us. One of us even found her mate, who accepted her even though she was tainted. We just thought we would be shunned like our previous pack.”

I felt pity for them. What kind of sick pack was Adam running?

“Look, I won’t force you to attend the party. But I would wish you to come along. You would meet other members, and get accepted. We don’t follow such Victorian traditions, you are neither tainted nor ruined. You are most welcome to enjoy yourself, even join the pack run and mate with any willing male you wish. No one will force you or disrespect you.”

Their eyes widened at the mention of the word mate. Perhaps, I was rushing them into it, but it was for their benefit.

“Come with me, I will keep you safe. You have my word.” I asked again. I am no psychologist, but I think I managed to reduce their fears. I chatted with them for some more time, getting to know their, hobbies, aspirations. What they wanted to do in life and how their Alphas could support them. Finally, they eased and agreed to come along.

“You handled it well Alice, just like a true Luna” Katherine said while we were leaving. I gave her a smug smile. Perhaps, I wasn’t such a bad Luna.

‘You are a wonderful Luna already, dear,’ Lucian said in my mind.

‘You were listening?’ I replied startled.

‘Of course, you have ordered me to keep the mind link open all the time.’ He chuckled.

‘Hmm, I should keep my thoughts guarded in that case.’ I laughed.

‘Come soon, dear, I am waiting.’

I relaxed and felt Lana take over. For the first time in weeks, I was completely comfortable and didn’t feel like there was a danger lurking around us.

I shifted and ran to the circle where the rest of the pack was already shifting or in the mid-shift.

I shifted back and stood next to Lucian as he made a speech about the killing of the witch, introducing new pack members and how security would remain tight. I was bored and desperate by the time he finished.

“Looks like I won’t have much of a chase, you are already quite desperate.” He winked.

“That’s your presumption.” I laughed and bolted away into the forest, while he followed. We scooted through the trees for several minutes until he managed to squash me up against a huge trunk. I was caught, but this game wasn’t over yet.

Lana wanted him to earn it, to make sure he was strong enough. I bared my teeth at him. He lunged at me like a wild beast. We fought savagely for a moment before he pinned me. He was most certainly worthy of taking what he wanted.

‘Do you know what you make me feel, Alice?’ he nudged the question into my mind.

‘Love, I hope,’ I answered him.

I could feel his heartbeat and the warmth of his skin on my back. His need to be inside me was overpowering. I wanted to be controlled by him completely. Trapped between him and the forest ground, his teeth grasped the scruff at the back of my neck and pulled lightly on it. My body shook with pleasure.

“How do you want me, mate?” He whispered in my mind.

“Just take me now,” I whispered back.

“Shift” he commanded.

We shifted back to human, and he captured my lips in a searing kiss. Our tongues fought with each other while his hand kneaded and rolled my nipples.

He trailed his mouth downwards and gave his attention to my aching nipples. He grabbed my ass and hitched me up. I grabbed his shoulders and wrapped my leg around his waist. Arching my back, I gave him better access. I was almost through the roof already. Clutching his shoulders, I rubbed my core against him. I felt my knees weaken, and I slipped down on the soft grass below. His taste was on my tongue and my body was on fire. My legs were sprawled all askew, and I had no desire to close them; I wanted him between them.

“I need you, now,” I said, simply gazing in his green depths.

He thrust into my waiting core and started shoving. Then looping my legs in his arms, he increases the pumping. He was going at it brutally. As if trying to compensate for the time we were separated by his illness. Caught up in the intense moment, my body clamped down on Lucian. I cried out my fulfilment, and he followed me rapidly.

I lay panting in the grass when we were done. Since we were tied up for some time, I snuggled in his arms, and we chatted about random things.

“I have decided I am going back to work.” I declared.

“Work?” He asked, stroking my arm.

“Yes, I am an architect. Now that the danger is eliminated, I want to get back to my life.”

“Are you asking for my permission or informing me?” He asked.

I turned back to face him.

“Informing you.”

“What if I refuse?” He said playing with a strand of my hair.

“Why would I need your permission, Lucian? I like to work, and I can handle it along with my pack responsibilities.” I replied.

“Hmm, you know one of my major businesses is construction, we are always in need of architects.” He replied.

“Are you making me a job offer?” I laughed.

“Well, it’s better this way, I will have you with myself throughout the day and won’t be worried sick about you running off on some adventure.” He said, nuzzling my neck from behind.

“Hmm, how will we ever get any work done if we stay together all day ?” I replied, arching my back and grabbing his hair.

The air in the forest was thick with the sounds of pleasure and the smell of arousal. The night got darker and the party got wilder. The pack rutted and frolicked in the woods. My eyes were drawn to the movement in the bushes, it looked like, a young couple playing chase around the circle. But the harsh voice caught our attention.

“Don’t touch me! I am not interested.” Savannah was screaming at another wolf. Lucian and I broke apart and walked towards the commotion.

“Hey, I was chasing you and when you stopped I thought you submitted.” A male voice said.

I recognized him as one of the trackers, Chris.

“Is there a problem?” Lucian asked. Savannah was naked and sweaty like the rest of us. She looked pissed.

“Alphas,” Chris bowed, looking a little nervous.
