“I’m looking to buy some nice suits for the office,” he told her.
She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. “Sir, you’re aware this is a women’s store.”
Jared nodded. “I didn’t say they were for me.”
“Oh, so is it your wife, girlfriend, mother or sister?” she asked right back.
“Hmm, not my mother or sister. I’m also not married… Hmm, I guess you call her my fun, flirty friend.” He smiled to himself; she had strait up talked about s*x toys with him today, that was flirting in his book, especially with that soft silken and amused tone she’d had about obtaining her o****m.
“What is it you’re thinking?”
“She always wears pantsuits, and I was thinking she needs a few with skirts. She’s quite proper and professional in the office, so what I need is professional but…” he thought about it. “Not uptight, something with a little fun flare I suppose.”
“Alright,” she nodded and looked about as he did.
He smiled to himself as he strolled about and looked at the suits, and mix-match items that could be paired up as office wear, he thought about Wynta and what she would look good in, that would suit the office, but suit his need to punish her in his office if she needed it at the same time.
He didn’t exactly know what style she liked, but he’d seen that dress for the Luna ceremony, the neckline of it, and he pointed out to the sales lady a lovely soft grey dress with a similar neckline, with half-length sleeves and a fitted pleated bodice and a skirt that fell softly to just below her knees, elegant and could be worn in the office, out on a date or to an event.
It also would give him easy access to punish her as well, it would slide up her thighs easily for him to pin her down and taste her until she was begging for more. A smile played on his lips. All the outfits were going to be like that.
He would choose all different colors. She had black hair and softly tanned skin, a figure that would suit any style of clothing, and he was intending to step her out of her comfort zone just a little, but not too much. So, though he went with flirty and fun, he also made sure that the three dresses and five suits he picked out, were all worthy of office wear at the same time.
He had them placed in suit bags and paired them with shoes as well, then smiled at the lady as she thanked him and told him to come again. He chuckled softly. “I just might,” he stated, and left the store. He made his way to Wynta’s apartment and let himself in. Her door lock was flimsy at best, he’d better have it replaced with something more suitable.
Jared strolled in and opened her wardrobe, looked at her office wear and smiled as he collected her slacks and jackets, and placed them on the bed. He left her blouses she could, if she wanted, mix them into the outfits he’d bought for her.
He hung up all her new work wear and lined up the new shoes and then stood back and smiled. The choices he’d made were a far cry from all the dark blue and black slacks and jackets she had hanging in there. Her dark wardrobe was now filled with color as well, from pastel to bright and bold, and of course, he’d picked up a navy blue and black outfit, the colors he’d always seen her in.
He wasn’t so silly as to just toss her clothes out either. No, he just placed them in the suit bags he now had an excess of and left the apartment with them. He texted the pack handyman to come and install a proper lock on her door and got a confirmation that it would be done before she got home from the office.
He smiled to himself as he sent back, “Just bring me the code, I’ll pass it onto her, oh and make the code five digits… Hmm, let’s make it, 52733,” a confirmation came through, and he chuckled to himself.
Jared took Wynta’s clothes right to his penthouse and hung them in his closet. On the side that was empty, left them in those bags, he had a feeling she was going to want them back. But if she wanted them back, she could come and get them, might not make it out of his apartment though, or not for a few fun hours.
He smiled to himself. This was a good fun game for him, and one that was going to see her more than annoyed, which would bring her right to him, but also likely please his father at the same time. So, even if she went to his old man and ranted about it, Edward, he knew, would just smile and likely tell her to take it up with Jared. To go and collect her things from him, which would put her in his apartment, something his father actually wanted. That penthouse was also soundproof, and he could surely punish her for hours. He chuckled to himself as he headed back to the office.
Wynta
Wynta’s eyes moved to the short rap on her office’s door, and she smiled at seeing Edward standing there. Though her eyes moved the man standing next to him, and she actually recognized him from those pictures she’d seen in Jared’s office this morning, it was actually the elite warrior that she had told him she would accept, Kyan.
“Your driver, Wynta,” Edward stated, “Jared informed me that he let you handpick your own from the dozen I had picked for you,” he stated and walked into her office, motioning for Kyan to follow him and asked him to close the door.
“It kind of surprised me a bit. I thought he’d just allocate one after reading all their stats.” He smiled at her as he sat down in the chair across from her. “Seems my son took your thoughts into consideration on the matter. That was nice of him.” Edward smiled. “Also, not like him at all, he’s quite the take-charge kind of boy.”
She didn’t think it was why Jared had done it, he had brought her to his office solely to annoy her, but she let it go, because she doubted very much Edward knew that. As for Jared being the take-charge kind of person, yes, he seemed to be quite dominant she had to admit to herself. “Hmm, trying to be polite, I suppose.” She waved it off, “Though I still don’t think it’s necessary, Edward.”
“You may not, but after what you relayed about the weekend, with an unknown Alpha, and I’m guessing his entire unit, because we rarely travel by ourselves, and that combined with the sudden appearance of an unknown warrior out the front of your building…” he shook his head. “I don’t like it. I’d much rather you come into the pack, but I know you’re not going to.”
“I’m not.” She stated and stood up, and looked at Kyan as he stepped over to her desk. “Hello.
She greeted him, offering her hand to him.
