Seeing as you state, you know nothing of the goings on.
I’m guessing so.
Parker muttered.
She nodded, Aston was indeed right, there was a lot more going on here than anyone knew.
The question now was why did she do it? She had even used herself having a pup to do it.
When, in fact, she’d never produced an heir.
To Gretta, it didn’t sound as though she was even going to do that in any hurry.
It had been nine years and still there was no pup between them.
So why use that specific reason? Do you know why she would do something like that? Gretta asked, and watched Parker look right at Bella, and then just sigh on the heavy side.
She understood that instantly, every she wolf understood that.
Its likely she didn’t want Bella coming back to the pack, Parker stated.
She did not like that I already had a Mate when she and I met, pitched a fit about me not waiting for her.
She also didn’t like that I didn’t take her home to mark and mate her.
Which I didn’t, because I didn’t like her attitude, she appeared to be a spoiled entitled she wolf that didn’t treat others well.
I took her back to the pack only for a trial month, to see if we could get along was all, how she treated my pack members, because I had a Luna that was very good at her job and everyone liked … Jealousy is the cause.
He stated.
Hmm, that’s interesting to me as well and it was, his statement about not wanting to mark and mate her.
She was now curious, had he wanted to keep Belladonna for his Luna? Would he have rejected Carina for his Chosen Luna? Seems to her that he would have; they could get into that later.
That was not on the table for discussion right this moment.
So, she would come back to it after this mess was sorted out.
Though she moved her eyes to Bella to see her reaction to it.
She was just sitting there looking at him with a slight frown on her face, likely hadnt been privy to that information herself.
Though she knew Bella had always wanted out, due to the way they were mated to each other.
But Alpha Parker, that is your heir we are talking about.
Gretta stated, What sort of Luna in this day and age, does that? We are more civilized than we once were.
And children are born outside of mate bonds all the time, she shook her head.
It was true she had four 18 year olds in her college right now to prove that.
His hand crumpled those emails he had hold of, but it was his Gamma who spoke, or grated out the words An entitled bitch.
Gretta looked right at him, that Gamma was as mad as his own Alpha was.
Bella had told her she’d gotten along with everyone inside that pack, including his unit.
She had actually felt she fitted in better inside her enemys pack; than her home pack.
She was treated with respect, and she held no animosity towards any of them.
That Gamma over there didn’t like the current Luna, that was what she was getting from his reaction.
She also noted that Parker did not admonish his Gamma, didn’t even bat an eyelid or snarl at the insult to his Mate.
There was likely more going on inside that pack than he was letting on.
She understood that Luna, had not only deceived him, but the entire unit and his pack, and they were all only now, just finding out what type of woman she truly was.
He’d chosen wrong, she thought, and was willing to bet he was now thinking that himself.
Though she knew Bella had been the one to issue that rejection, she could do so because her mating alliance stated as such, she was only there until he’d met his Goddess Gifted.
I can see Parker.
She dropped the formalities, seeing as the man and his wolfs world was being ripped apart around them right now.
That there is deception inside your pack.
Likely from your own Luna.
I would advise you to return to your pack and confront your Luna about this.
You cannot blame Bella for any of this.
She followed all the wolfen laws and rules.
Parker scrubbed a hand over his face and looked right at Bella.
He looked apologetic to Gretta Im sorry Belladonna, I honestly had no idea … about any of this.
His hand waved over the file before him Im sorry that I raised my voice to you this morning, that I called you a liar even.
I should not have, I should have held in my annoyance and temper, known you wouldn’t lie to me.
he murmured.
His worded apology surprised Gretta completely, it wasn’t like most Alphas to just admit they were in the wrong and so openly.
To apologise like that as well, he did it easily and with full sincerity.
He actually meant those words.
Though she did recall that Bella had thought it was odd he would just sign his pup away, she’d told Gretta he wanted a pup with her.
She wondered how he felt about Belladonna, back then and even now.
Bella sighed Apology accepted, my words to you were harsh as well.
Im sorry for that, I hope you can understand why now.
Alpha Parker.
She drew his attention right to her once more Im afraid until your end is sorted out, and the truth is brought into the light, I will keep you to the contract.
Bella is the sole parent of your son.
Until such a time as you can investigate and bring me the results of it.
He was staring at her now.
Thats not exactly fair to me, Alpha Gretta.
I did nothing wrong here.
That maybe the case … Maybe.
He cut her off.
