“I’ve been curious about asking you about your family. But I wasn’t sure if it would be a good or bad di was hoping you would mention your family to me. You know about my family after all. Good, bad or indi you know more about me than I know about you and I don’t like it, but I don’t want to make you sad by digg up painful memories.” I tell him.
He smiles softly at me, “You never have to worry about making me feel bad with memories darling. Whenever you want to know something, ask me. You are my mate and you more than anyone have the right to know about me.”
“Okay, so let’s start with your mom then! Tell me about her. Where is she right now? How come you haven’t mentioned her until now?” I start my third degree. I’m excited to learn about my mate. He is so amazing to me and I want to be amazing for him.
He smiles, “You will love my mother. She will probably help you gang up on me. She is truly a rem kable woman. When my father died, she was devastated. She pulled herself up though. She knew I wa being an Alpha of the pack and she pushed aside her grief to help me with the pack. When she hang of things, she took a step back and then said she wanted to start traveling.”
“Have you always gotten along with your mother? Where is she right now?”

“Yes, my mother, Renata is her name, she and I have always gotten along well. Last I heard fr an island somewhere. I’m hoping she can be here for your Luna Ceremony. She will love you she can probably help answer questions you have about being a Luna yourself.” Austinsaid.
“Do you look more like your mom or dad? Why are there no pictures of them i.. the pack house?” I ask.
“Some pack members say I am a combination of both. There are no pictures becau mother was devastated and when she would see his picture, she would breakdown, After she left, I didn’t put them back up.” He explained.

That’s a sobering thought. To love someone so much, that you can’t even look at that person’s picture once that person is gone. I push that sad thought aside. I want to make this moment a happy one.
“Okay, how about we call her and when we are done, you can show me how you use all those strong rippling muscles my alpha.” I purr at my mate and lean to kiss him. I know how likes my breasts so I lightly skim them across his chest before pulling back and letting him see me on full display. There is something very intimate about bearing my body to him.
His eyes darken with lust and I know he would take me right now, so I slowly get up from the tub and grab a towel and teasingly dry my body in front of him, making sure I take extra care of my breasts. I hear him growl his approval at my little show I’m putting on for him. When I move down to dry my legs, I make sure to stick my ass out just a little further.
That’s when his control snaps. He gets up from the water and smacks my butt and spins me around. “You should be careful how much you tease me little minx. You never know when the big bad wolf will come out to play.” He growls in my ear.
I smile at him, “I like the big bad wolf. He’s hot.”
His mouth crashes on mine and he is desperately trying to maintain control. When he pulls back, his breath is ragged. He leans his forehead against mine. “Let’s call my mother and get it over with so I can bury myself you tonight.”
We sit on our bed as Austin pulls out his phone. He hits a button and the phone starts ringing. After the third ring a lady’s voice answer, “Austin, honey! To what do I owe the pleasure of my son finally remembering I exist?”
I smile, I like her immediately.
“Mom, I’m calling because I have something important to discuss with you and I am sure once I explain everything, you will want to come home immediately.” He teases his mom.
“What did you do?” Renata asks.
“I found your daughter-in-law is what I did. So you need to come back for Luna Ceremony in a couple of days instead of having drinks on the beach in whatever island you are in woman.” He says amused.
“DAUGHTER-IN-LAW?! AUSTIN TELL ME SHE IS YOUR FATED MATE AND NOT A CHOSEN ONE!” She says with such excitement that it is infectious.
Austin however looks exasperated, “Mom, you know I would never waste time with a chosen mate. Of course she is my fated mate. She is sitting here with me. Her name is Rebel.”
My eyes go wide. I’m so not prepared. I mean I know he was calling her, but I didn’t think I would be talking to her on this call! “Hello, Mrs. Willis.”
“Rebel, there will be no Mrs. Willis. You are my daughter and I am your mother. Call me mom. Please! You have no idea how happy you have made this old woman. My son has his mate and I just know you are a lovely woman. You would have to be, for the Moon Goddess to pair you with my son!” She says with such sincerity that my eyes well up with tears.
“Okay, mom.”
Austin looks at me with love in his eyes. He seems happy that his mom is happy for us. “Mom, the ina Ceremony will be in a couple of days, do you think you will make it back in time?”
“Are you kidding me? Me, miss my only son bind himself to his Luna? Not a chance, I just bought the plane ticket. I leave tomorrow morning. Will you and Rebel meet me at the airport? I do not want to wait until I get to the pack house to meet my daughter!”
Austin chuckles, “Of course. Rebel and I will meet you at the airport. Send me the flight information. When you get here, we will tell you everything from how we met to what we have plann for the ceremony, okay?”
“You had better tell me everything. I want every detail and I want to spend time before I have time to agree or not. Honestly, her energy is infectious and I would age el.” Making plans nyway.
“Okay mom. I will see you tomorrow. Thank you coming back so abruptly. I know you were having a good time in the islands.”
She scoffed, “Not another word. You are my son and this is a moment I have been waiting for you to call me about for years. Now, let me get packing and then get to bed. I am so excited to see you both tomorrow. Good night! Love you both!”
In unison, Austin and I both said, “Good night! Love you too!”
The call ended and I don’t know why but my face has a huge ear to ear grin. I don’t know if this is how it is supposed to feel to have a mother’s love, but that’s what it sure feels like. Not towards me but just seeing and feeling it between Austin and his mom, it could fill up a room.
“You look happy. I thought you might be nervous or scared.” Austin looks at me with a smile.
I smile back at him, “I don’t know what a mother’s love is supposed to feel like, but if it’s anything like what I just witnessed and felt between you and your mom, then I am glad she considers me her daughter.”
I feel Austin’s eyes start to undress me. “Right now, I don’t want to talk anymore about my mother. You will see her tomorrow. I do have a lot of work to do right now though. Work that requires a big bad wolf.”
I feel a shiver go down my spine and heat pool at my core, “Well then, I think you should get to work, my alpha. I lift myself up on my knees and crawl over to Austin, “I want you, my big…bad…wolf.”
With that, Austin grabs me covers my lips and makes sure I feel him for the rest of the night.
I love Austin’s relationship with his mom.
