“No worries, Stef. I just came to meet her. You must be ready to leave”, Vera replied with a small smile.
While he was preoccupied with Vera, I instantly wiped my tears dry and plastered a smile on my face.
“Yes, we are. We were just waiting for Giselle. I will wait for you outside”, Stefan said with a sweet smile. He grabbed the bag Vera brought and left.
“Thank you for packing my stuff, but please don’t do stuff like this for me in the near future” I said in a low voice before following Stefan outside the room.
“Got it” Vera replied with a curt nod.
After breakfast, we left for the lake house. It was three hours’ distance from the pack house. As always, Kevin was driving, Riven was sitting in the passenger’s seat and, Stefan and I were sitting in the back.
Nobody spoke a word, until the eldest, Kevin, decided to break the uncomfortable silence.
“Giselle, are you okay?” Kevin asked in a concerned tone.
“Yeah, I am fine” I replied with a minute smile.
“You look tensed” was Riven’s plain statement.
I was shocked that he managed to notice that much. I have accepted the fact that he had fewer emotions than a normal werewolf.
“When I came to pick up your bags, you were having a conversation with your mother. Did you fight with Vera?”
Stefan asked in a muddled tone.
“Nope. Of course not. She was just giving me some instructions”. I lied, plastering a fake smile on my face.
“Just like last night?”
“Nope. Of course not. She was just giving me some instructions”. I lied, plastering a fake smile on my face.
“Just like last night?” Kevin asked teasingly while adjusting the front mirror on me.
“What happened last night?” Stefan asked curiously.
I ignored Stefan and narrowed my eyes at Kevin when I saw the naughty smirk on his face, “Shut up, Kevin.”
“As you command, sweetie”, Kevin replied with a wink.
The rest of the travel, we just had a casual talk about the neighboring packs and stuff.
As we reached the lake house, Kevin showed us our respective rooms.
After I freshened up and took care of my stuff, Stefan accompanied me to look around the lake house.
Their property was huge! The entire lake was included in their property and there were still hectares of ground left open for playing games and stuff.
The maple trees having brownish maple leaves surrounding the beautiful lake were a pleasant sight to see.
“Wow, beautiful”, I took a deep breath and a smile took over my face.
I really wanted to have time off from my jumbled-up life. Staying so close to nature instantly uplifted my mood.
“Yup, very beautiful” Stefan said, while looking straight at me.
I couldn’t help but blush when he complimented me like that.
“What are we going to do now?” I asked hurriedly to change the topic.
Before Stefan could reply, I heard a deep husky voice from behind.
“Whatever you want to do” Kevin replied, smiling.
I really need to learn how to differentiate between them on the basis of their voices.
“Do you have a plan?” I glanced at Stefan, who was always having a plan.
“What about playing my favorite game, ‘Never Have I Ever’? We will get to know about each other more. What say?” Stefan asked excitedly.
I love how he is always bright and cheerful.
“Oh, I am okay with that” I replied, nodding in agreement.
“Me too. What about you, Riven?” Kevin asked while glancing at his brother.
“I am okay with everything” Riven replied plainly.
We sat at the outdoor dining table. Riven brought us the drinks.
“I don’t drink, Riven” I said in a casual tone.
“You don’t? Why?” He asked in astonishment.
I really didn’t say anything, like there was a ghost or an alien standing behind you. Why is he so shocked? There are people who don’t like to drink, right?
“Um, I don’t like drinking” I replied with an awkward smile.
“Have you ever tried it?” Riven asked, for the first time I saw curiosity in his eyes. He was interested in the conversation.
Yeah, I did and then I ended up kissing someone, so it’s better if you keep that magic potion away. It makes h*rny!
But will I say it on Riven’s face? Hell no!
So, I ended up replying with, “Yeah, but I didn’t like it. Hence, I decided not to drink it again.”
“Okay, I will get you some fruit juice then” he replied with an infinitesimal smile.
Miracle! Riven just smiled! Improvement! It was small, minute to be honest, but at least it wasn’t his usual, I don’t give a f*ck about this world, face!
He came back with a can of fruit juice and poured me a glass. After that, he handed his brothers the wine glasses.
“Okay, I hope you all know the rules. I will say something I never did and then whoever did it in the past will take a sip of his or her drink, alright? Remember, no cheating!” Stefan narrowed his eyes and ate everyone and all of us nodded.
“I will start”, Stefan said excitedly, and everyone looked at him.
“Never have I ever slept with Giselle” he said in a serious tone, and glanced directly at Kevin.
“Seriously! None of us did”, Kevin replied with an eye roll.
I saw them glaring at each other, so I had to interrupt.
“Should I drink? I always sleep with myself” I said innocently.
All of them burst into laughter.
“Only if you have m*sturbated yourself to sleep” Stefan said with a wink.
Even though, I hate to admit it, but I m*sturbated myself to sleep this whole last month thinking it was one of their giant c*cks.
