Life’s Spiced Up with Some Werewolf Reads
Orphaned and shunned, Alora has always lived in fear until fate binds her to her worst enemy, Colton, the proud future Alpha of a rival pack. Their bond shocks everyone and sparks old hatred and danger. As war returns and dark secrets rise, Alora must uncover the truth behind her cursed bloodline—or die trying.
“Why did they stop so easily?” “Maybe they can’t go any further….. look.” Meadow points ahead pulling our attention back to the windscreen and we can see where the fog thins out enough that it’s barely there. Finally, an end in sight to this depressing smoke. It’s thinning to almost nonexistence and I wonder if…
“Are you sure you don’t want me to sit with you for now. Company?” I hesitate and go as if to sit again, but Meadow shakes her head “I need thinking time. Seeing him, hitting him with the truck… my head’s a mess. I want some space to process shit.” She furrows her brow over…
“What do we do?” Meadow seems locked onto the window in front of her, veering around wolves who try and get in our way but are pushed aside by our invisible forcefield. Unable to tear her gaze away from the high-speed maneuvers. I check I’m keeping the fog open for her to navigate through and…

Her eyes flash up at me, a hint of shock on that normally noble face as she second guesses my words, looks away again and then flickers back at me unsurely.? I think she’s trying to figure out if I mean it, or if I’m trying to catch her out, but I haven’t got time…
“Yeah, I think you’re right. There’s going to be a part of her that tries to take on the responsibility of this, because it was her mom. Maybe helping will lighten that weight and focus her on something else while it’s still so raw.” I know Carmen has skills and before there was a ME…
“Not a second apart since I fell head over heels for that asshole. He drives me crazy; you know. When we fight, damn do we fight. It’s not pretty, but I would die without him. Literally, given, you know… marking and all.” Meadow laughs lightly through her weary tears, and I smile at her humor…
