I see the whole table looking at me, most with smiles on their face and a sad frown on Calvin’s handsome face. I realize that other than the initial pain of rejection and then the pain when he slept with Sophia, I have never felt the strong pull to Calvin like I do with Asher. I suddenly realize that I hadn’t given him a fair chance like I said that I would, and I need to speak to him. I will call him tonight and I will let him know that I love him and want to be with him, and I will give him time to make his changes and maybe come every other weekend to visit with him, and he can come with Bree and Dixon to come here if he wants to. I will ask him when I talk to him tonight. I am so glad that he really is making changes to be with me.
Eric’s perspective
I have arrived back at the pack with Danica, Sophia, Kyle, and Jeremy on Thursday afternoon. The vacation was cut short over all the difficulties that we have faced. Calvin runs away and Sophia has a breakdown, Danica is still furious with me for calling out Jade’s name and not hers, I need to decide on a new Beta and swear him in, and I need to find out where Jade is on top of that. I am overwhelmed and frankly mad at all that has gone wrong. I am sick of the glares that Danica and Sophia are sending me, but I am actually thankful for the silent treatment that I am getting. I don’t want to hear any whining and complaining over a simple mistake. Jade wouldn’t be getting mad over a little mistake, she was always kind and happy, even when she was being picked on, she was never mean back to anyone. I know that she has gotten bolder since she has started training and exercising, and I fully plan on letting her continue to train when I get her back here, but she will only be sparring with me. I enjoyed getting to wrestle a little with her on the beach and remembering when I was pushing myself into her is making me wonder where Danica is right now.
I guess when I bring Jade back to the pack, I will hold a town hall meeting and announce by Alpha Command that Jade is NOT to be harmed or bullied by anyone, so she will be safe while she is here. I will not allow my Luna to be harmed in any way while she is here. It could potentially hurt my pups, and I will not have it. If Danica chooses to, she can remain in the packhouse, but on the Beta floor and I can visit her there. She will never be allowed in the Alpha quarters ever again because I know that she cannot be trusted, and I will NOT allow her to hurt Jade just because she is a rolling bitch.
I go to meet with my father in his office to get some advice from him. I knock on the door and wait for him to allow me to enter.
“Enter,” my dad calls out.
“I need to speak with you dad, on an important matter,” I tell him.
“What is it?” my dad asks.
“Jade Devoe, the Gamma family’s daughter,” I start to say.
“What about her, she left and after speaking to them about it, they advised that she was really their niece and not their daughter. She has left and come back only to accept the rejection from soon-to-be Beta Calvin Williams, and rejected this pack before she left, so she has no dealings left with us anymore” My dad says.
“I want to make her my chosen Luna dad,” I tell him.
“Why Eric?” he frowns at me, wrinkles appearing on his forehead, and he looks generally confused by my statement.
“I want her, she has a strong wolf dad, she is a white wolf, she will give me strong pups and our pack will be stronger for it as she is directly descended from the Goddess herself,” I tell him.
“She is a white wolf? Is she your mate Eric?” my dad asks me.
