Chapter 114 – The Lost Pack (Paige & Ryder) Novel Online Free

I grip the robe tighter. “You can tell that, huh?”

He pushes off the wall and steps closer, tilting his head. “I can feel it, Paige. But knowing you’re upset and knowing why you’re upset are two very different things. That’s where you’ve got to help us out a little.”

I sigh, combing my fingers through my damp hair. “I feel like maybe you are all avoiding me, giving me too much space.”

His brows lift in surprise. “Avoiding you? Is that what you think?”

“What else am I supposed to think? I wake up alone more mornings than not. Sleep alone most nights too. I was expecting chaos with four men. I figured I’d barely be able to walk most days with how much s*x I was having. Instead, I’m here… sleeping alone half the time.”

I feel my cheeks heat instantly. That had not come out the way I meant it, now I definitely sound like a needy s*x fiend.

Ryder’s lips twitch like he’s trying not to laugh, and the tension in my chest loosens just a little. “That’s what’s bothering you?”

“Yes, but maybe I’m just being needy. I didn’t mean…”

“You’re not.” He cuts in. “We’ve been holding ourselves back because we can feel how overwhelmed you are. We thought that’s what you needed.”

“I am overwhelmed, but not by you or the bonds,” I admit.

“So you’re overwhelmed by everything else, and you’re missing what you thought you’d be getting?”

“Exactly.” I nod. “I’m glad you caught up because I was messing that up big time.”

Now he does laugh, and before I can react he’s crowding me back against the do frame. His hand slides to my waist, tugging me closer until I can feel the heat radiating off him. “You know,” he murmurs, his eyes sparkling with mischief, “I can fix that problem right now.”

My pulse stutters. “Oh? And how exactly do you plan to do that?”

His smile turns wolfish, his mouth brushing my ear. “By making sure you don’t spend another second doubting how wanted you are.” bare

The robe falls open as his hands push beneath the fabric, his palms hot against my skin. I gasp, clinging to his shoulders, all thoughts of loneliness disappearing under his touch.

“Ryder…”

He silences me with a kiss. It’s deep and demanding, the kind that steals my breath and makes my knees weak. His mouth trails down to the curve of my shoulder, his lips brushing across my still damp skin, and I tilt my head back against the wall with a sigh. “You really don’t waste time, do you?”

I feel Ryder’s grin against my neck. “You said you were expecting to have so much s*x you’d barely be able to walk most days. So now I’m solving the problem and attempting to meet your expectations.”

“Solving the problem?” I laugh breathlessly as his hand slides down my thigh, lifting my leg to hook around his hip. “You make it sound like I’m a puzzle.”

“You are,” he murmurs, “and I’ve been trying to figure you out since I got you back. Still not done, by the way.”

Heat coils low in my stomach as he kisses over his mating mark. “Maybe you’re just bad at puzzles,” I tease.

He growls playfully, nipping at my neck. “Careful, little Luna. I can still show you just how good I am at solving things.”

The words spark something inside of me. My pulse spikes, and every inch of my body becomes hot with the need I’ve been bottling up while they’ve been busy giving me space. This is what I’ve been missing. Not just the intimacy, but the closeness, the weight of his body against mine, the way he looks at me like I’m his entire world.

One hand grips my leg, while the other works between us. His fingers glide over me so lightly it’s maddening but so arousing at the same time.

“Tell me what you want, Paige. Do you want to keep it just us, or maybe you want me to call one of the others up here to join us?” he whispers as he teases me further.

My mind conjures up a million different ways this could go. With four of them to consider, the possibilities seem endless, but we have time.

“Just us this time,” I say breathlessly, my body aching for more than this barely there touch.

Ryder hums his approval and increases the pressure of his circling fingers ever so slightly.” Good choice, because I’m feeling selfish right now. If you want to keep this between us though, you’re going to have to do something for me.”

“Anything,” I breathe.

“Your need is like a siren’s call through the bond,” he groans. “Resisting it goes against every instinct. It’s driving Remy wild right now, so I need you to shut him out, Paige. Keep this between us in the bond too.”

“I… don’t know… know how,” I manage, so close to finding release, even from his light touch.

“Try, angel, because right now you are wide open, and no matter how much we try to block it out, we are defenceless against you. That connection you feel to Remy, block it, focus only on me.”

I try, I really do, but I can’t. Not when I’m so worked up like this. I can only just remember how to breathe right now.

“I can’t, Rye. I don’t know how,” I admit.

“Okay, it’s okay,” he soothes. “Don’t worry about it, we will work on it later, but I can’t promise Remy won’t burst through that door before I’m done with you.”

Ryder’s fingers work harder now, circling my clit until I’m right on the edge before he plunges them into me. I don’t know whether to cry at the loss or moan at the gain. He curls them perfectly to hit the sweet spot, and I grip his shoulder.

When Ryder’s thumb joins the party, pressing down on my clit, my mind flits to Remy. Thoughts of him bursting through the door with fire burning in his eyes as he watches us pushes me right over the edge.

“Paige,” Remy growls in my mind as I tremble with pleasure.

In a flash, Ryder has pushed down his pants, and I cling to his shoulders as he lifts me effortlessly, pinning me against the wall and filling me in one swift thrust. Then there’s only Ryder’s strength holding me, Ryder’s mouth claiming mine, Ryder’s promise in ev that I’m never going to be alone again. touch

My second orgasm begins to build with every movement, but there’s something else building there too, something demanding my attention. Remy.

His need slams into me as if it’s my own, and maybe it is. It’s hot and desperate, it’s a battle he’s trying so hard to win. I can sense him more clearly than ever before. Flashes of him clenching his fists, pacing his room, growling in frustration as he fights to hold himself back assault me until I can’t stand it any longer.

“Remy,” I gasp, the name slipping from my mouth and making Ryder lose his rhythm.

“Shhh, it’s okay, he’s coming,” Ryder says, surprising me.

I’d thought he’d be mad or hurt. Even though Remy is my mate too, it’s still got to be an insult to hear me call out his name while we are intimate. But here he is, reassuring me like it’s the most normal thing.

The door bursts open then, and Remy steps in, his eyes blazing just how I imagined. He studies us for a moment before he closes the door gently behind him and strides towards us.
