“They decided that they want you to take care of Gamma female Devoe, it will be the most humane and quickest, so they are ok with you doing it now. All the paperwork has been signed and we are complete with everything we needed to get done at this time” Tyler tells me.
“OK, do you want to do this inside or outside?” I ask them.
“Sylvia has asked us to do it outside,” Acting Alpha Marcus tells me, and then gives a small smile. I am sure that she is going to make a break for it as soon as we go outside as she is not handcuffed. I smile because I know that there is no way I am letting her make it further than 50 ft, but just in case I tell my men outside what is going on, and if she makes it further than I think, and my handguns can’t handle the shot, that they are authorized to take her out. They all know what she looks like, and I am pretty sure she is going to be the only one running at top speed out there.
“Of course, we can do that,” I tell them, and we walk Sylvia out of her cell and out of the secure area to the area in front of the packhouse.
We get outside and just as predicted Sylvia takes off. She doesn’t make it 40 feet. I feel good knowing that Jade doesn’t have anyone else in her life that will be causing her a problem in the future. For the first time in her life, Jade doesn’t have anyone who will be causing her any more problems. It is finished.
Tyler’s Perspective
We are on our way home now. We dropped the Stone Moon pack off a little after 3 pm. We will be back in our pack a little after 5 pm, so just in time for dinner. Asher was going to deal with Ashley and then he said that he was thinking about coming to see Jade if I thought it was ok. I had mind-linked mom and dad to ask them what they thought of Asher coming over, and they agreed that it would be good for her to see him. They can tell that she misses him as it is hard to be away from your mate for long periods of time. Also, she will probably still worry about him even though we told her that he was ok until she can verify for herself that he wasn’t hurt.
We aren’t going to tell her though, so it can be a surprise for her when he gets there. Mason and Braxton are still with us, as Mason’s truck is still in our pack as they are still on vacation for Spring Break. It is so hard to believe that it has been a week since we rode to the Howling Wolf pack with Jade for her to accept Calvin’s rejection. A lot has happened in a week. I am so glad that Jade doesn’t have anything else to worry about as all of her tormentors, and those who allowed them to torment her, have been taken care of.
I am glad everything went as smoothly as it did. The group made in-depth plans, and it was a successful day. I know we have only been gone for 14 hours, but this has been a long and stressful day and I am glad it is over with. I was so glad when we finally got back to our pack lands. It is so good to be back home. I am excited to see my family, have a good meal, and get a good night’s sleep because I didn’t get much sleep last night.
Asher’s Perspective
I am glad to be back at Stone Moon. I mind-linked my dad and told him that I was 10 minutes out before we got here because I wanted him and my Uncle Bryan, who is our Gamma, to meet me at the cells to help take care of Ashley. They were bringing two warriors with them, just in case. I had dad dip a knife in wolfsbane and I was going to be the one to complete Ashley’s sentence. I got to thinking about all the problems that she caused Jade in the short amount of time that she knew her. The bullying that she had her sister do at school to Jade, kissing me on the boat when I was staring at Jade as it was the first time that I got to see my mate, telling Jade that she was pregnant with my child and the absolute worst going around my Alpha Command and showing Eric where Jade was staying so he could try to kidnap her and take her back to the Howling Wolf pack.
By the time we got back to the Stone Moon pack, I was really angry and ready to finish this, as Ashley was the last one that would want to bring Jade harm. I hugged my father and my uncle before we headed down to the cells.
“Oh, thank the Goddess you are here Asher”, Ashley called out when she saw me and ran over to the bars. “Please stop this madness, I love you and I would be a wonderful Luna. Just choose me and we can lead this pack together.”
“Ashley, we are not together. We will never be together. You were found guilty of colluding against your Luna and have been sentenced to death. That is why I am here. Your sentence is going to be carried out now”, I told her.
