Life’s Spiced Up with Some Werewolf Reads

Chapter 18 – Deceiving my Big Bad Alphas (Kai Savage) Novel Free Online Free by Nina P

Summer growled low and feral in my mind. ‘Let him. Goddess, just once. I want to know what

he feels like inside us.’

“Shut up,” I snapped, struggling with my own emotions. I didn’t mean to say it oud loud, but I did.

I wanted to give in, to follow her lead and loose myself into this. Into him.

Because his smell was making me dizzy. The way he held me-firm, possessive, hungry was making my pulse stutter. He wasn’t saying anything. Just breathing against my skin. Letting me feel exactly what he wanted.

“You done playing pretend?” he murmured.

I froze.

His voice was low. Dangerous. But there was heat under it. A flicker of something almost desperate.

“Let me go,” I whispered, hating how shaky it sounded.

He didn’t.

Instead, he leaned closer. Nose brushing my jaw. His breath was fire.

“I should,” he said. “But I don’t fucking want to.”

I sucked in a breath that got stuck halfway.

He shifted his hips just slightly, and I felt him.

Thick. Heavy. Hard enough to make my knees go weak.

“You smell like trouble,” he whispered, lips barely grazing my ear. “And I’ve got a thing for trouble.”

“Fu.ck you,” I hissed.

His laugh was low. Dark. Way too close.

“You’d like that,” he said.

Goddess help me, maybe I would.

But I wasn’t about to let him win.

I slammed my foot back, catching him in the shin. Not hard enough to hurt-but enough to break the spell.

He growled. Actually growled. The sound vibrated through his chest and into my spine.

And I hated how good it felt.

His grip loosened just a little-enough for me to twist out of his hold and spin around, panting.

We stood there, breathing hard, eyes locked.

He looked wrecked. Hair messy. Pupils blown wide.

His scent-lust and fury and raw, unfiltered need-was a fuc.king tsunami.

And his eyes?

They looked at me like I was the only thing in the world he wanted to destroy and devour all at once.

“Stay the fu.ck away from me,” I snapped, trying to ignore the fire between my legs.

He tilted his head, smirked again. “Can’t.”

“Try harder.”

“No.”

Just that. Simple. Final.

I hated him.

I hated how my wolf whined at the loss of his touch. How my thighs clenched. How my body screamed at me for stepping away.

“You think this is some kind of game?” I asked.

He stepped forward, slow and deliberate. “No. I think this is fate. And I’m tired of pretending

it’s not.”

My throat closed.

“Don’t flatter yourself,” I spat. “You’re just confused.”

“Maybe,” he said. “Or maybe I’ve finally found something worth breaking the rules for.”

The silence between us stretched-long, charged, dangerous.

Then he stepped past me, brushing my shoulder.

“You smell like fuc.king heaven, Savage,” he muttered. “And I’m not done with you.”

Then he was gone.

Leaving me shaking against the wall.

And soaked in want.

DALTON POV

After the little pity party in the garden-yeah, I saw it for what it was-I went back to our room.

Nothing special. Just needed to clear my head. Maybe chill for a bit before hitting the gym.

Burn some of this frustration off.

Just chill.

Right?

That’s all I meant to do.

But then… I walked past Kai’s side of the room. The drawer wasn’t even fully closed. One of the top ones. I didn’t open it. Not really. My fingers just brushed it. And then it was open. Just

like that.

That’s how it started.

That’s how I ended up standing there with my hand buried in Kai’s underwear.

Lace.

Soft. Black. With a little ribbon on the front.

I froze.

That was… unexpected.

My pulse stopped, then kicked back in-loud. Violent. Like it was trying to break out of my chest.

What the fuck…?

I held the tiny thing up between my fingers like it was made of gold. Or something holy. The lace caught the light and for a moment I forgot to breathe.

This wasn’t just any pair of underwear.

It was his.

Or… hers?

That question had been whispering in the back of my skull for hours now. Ever since that moment during sparring. That accidental brush. The softness. The curves.

The… weight.

No guy has a chest like that.

Unless he isn’t really a guy at all.

Plus, there was that weird pull sending shivers down my spine since I first laid my eyes on him.

I couldn’t shake it. Couldn’t unsee it. Couldn’t unknow what my body already figured out before my mind caught up.

Kai was hiding something.

And I was going to find out what.

My knuckles were white on the lace when I dropped it back in the drawer. I didn’t even try to close it. I was too far gone already.
