“Then being, thank you” Our father told him.
“We should go back to the platform” Koda suggested.
We were nearing the platform when the fireworks began without a hitch, but then everything happened at once, and just like Madelyn’s vision, Troy came out of nowhere and the an attack began.
“HOW THE F*CK DID HE GET OUT!” I shouted to Koda, as we started fighting off pack members who charged at us.
Everything continued as Madelyn had seen, Troy went for the her fake, as Koda, myself, Cole and the guards started fighting. After a few seconds, our parents joined the fight, as the crowd screamed and scattered while the loud explosions of the fireworks drowned out the noise of the crowd.
I had just flipped a rouge guard, and knocked him out when Ava screamed into my mind, and my body froze in fear.
“MATES, HELP!”
“Ava?” Flynn responded instantly, as I felt Knox stand to attention “What’s wrong!?”
“AVA, MADELYN!?” I shouted, but then the link cut off. I tried connecting again, but I couldn’t reach her.
“We have to get to Maddie and Ava!” Koda shouted, as he knocked out the Beta who was attacking him.
I turned to the fake Troy, who smiled “Do you really think I’d fall for a fake” He laughed, and everyone we’d been fighting, vanished into smoke, along with Troy.
“WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT?” I shouted.
We were all standing there, in our original spots, the crowd was still in place watching the fireworks. The only ones who looked panicked, were myself, Koda, Rebecca who had shifted back into her own body, our parents, Cole, Evet and Ryker.
“Troy made up see an illusion!” Our dad gasped in fear.
“Iyarna had that power” Ryker said in shock.
“F*CK TROY!” I shouted “Madelyn’s in danger!”
I quickly pulled off my pants, and shifted, Knox grabbed my pants, and he ran after Madelyn’s fading scent down the road. I could hear Flynn behind us.
“Is Troy still in prison?” I linked Koda and our father.
“No” Dad growled “The guards are dead, he must have used an illusion to make it look like he was still in the cell”
“WE SHOULD HAVE F*CKING KILLED HIM!” I screamed.
“Just get to your mate” Dad snapped back, though for once, I could hear guilt in his voice “I’ve got the city on lock down, he shouldn’t get out”
“Where the hell was Sebastian taking her?!” Koda yelled as Flynn and Knox turned right “This isn’t the way to the bunker!”
When we got to a random construction area, we shifted and pulled on our pants, before running into the building.
“Is that her blood!?” I shouted, and ran over to the puddle on the ground, that held her scent.
“This can’t be happening!” Koda screamed as he grabbed the nearest plank of wood and threw it at the nearest wall.
We heard a groan, and turned to see Sebastian on the ground.
“SEB!” I shook him until he started waking up “SEBASTIAN!”
“Alpha?” He groaned and looked around.
“What happened? Where’s Maddie and Molly?” Koda asked.
“She..I don’t know” He answered in confusion as he looked around “Molly gave us something to drink, but I… I think she drugged us”
“Molly did?” I said frantically.
“Why did you even come here?!” Koda asked angrily “You were meant to go to our f*cking bunker!”
“Bunker?” He said, his voice was still confused “I got a message from you with this address, it said you’d changed the location last minute”
“I NEVER SENT YOU A MESSAGE!” Koda shouted, as he stood up again.
“I… I’m sorry” He gasped “I thought there was a change. You and Alpha Jaxson, are the only ones who know my phone number, I didn’t think… I should have checked in with you, I just wasn’t thinking”
“It’s not your fault” I assured him “Get to the hospital and get checked out”
“Yes, Alpha” He said as I helped him up.
“Take the car, but don’t drive while you’re still dizzy”
He nodded and slowly left us alone.
“We need a plan” I told Koda “Her scent’s gone, how do we find her?”
“SHE HAD A BAD FEELING!” Koda screamed and shoved a ladder “WHY DIDN’T WE LISTEN!?”
“STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT WE DIDN’T DO” I shouted, and grabbed and shook his arms “AND START THINKING ABOUT WHAT WE’RE GOING TO DO NOW!”
“Okay!” Koda pulled away and started pacing.
Cole and his Lycan Bryson, finally showed up, and he shifted, and pulled on his pants.
“Why did you get her to hide here?” Cole asked, but when I growled, he stepped back “I’m guessing, you didn’t”
“No” Koda snapped, and looked at me “Can you feel the pull?”
“No” I shook my head in despair “I’ve been trying to track her through it, but there’s nothing”
“They must have those cuffs on her again”
“Her dream” I gasped “She was running through the woods with those cuffs on, you don’t think it was Troy who kissed her?”
“What dream?” Cole asked.
“It doesn’t matter” Koda snapped “We have to find her before he touches her!”
“Noland!” I grabbed Koda’s arm, before I started pulling off my pants again “If he really is her Keeper, he might be able to track her”
We all got naked again, and shifted, and the three of us raced to the prison, where ambulances and more guards were already in place.
Ryker was shouting orders, as we shifted, and pulled on our pants again.
“I’ve got things under control” Ryker told us “You should be looking for the Luna”
