I figured I had given her a little time to absorb what Luna Monica had told her, so I gently start to speak to Jade, “Honey, I hope that those are tears of joy, we just found out yesterday afternoon that you even existed, and we packed up last night so we could leave after my meeting this morning to come and meet you. I am so sorry I didn’t know about you, but I will spend the rest of my days making it up to you. You have brothers that have been chomping at the bit to come and see you, they would have left last night to come here if we would have let them, but I wanted you to meet us all together. I heard that you are a white wolf, that is how Luna Monica pieced it together, as I am a white wolf too. I will be glad to sit down and answer any questions that you have for me about your mom. We dated for almost 6 months before she left my pack. I would like to ask you some questions too, as I would like to know how long your aunt raised you and what happened to your mother? I know this is big, and a lot has been sprung on you. We can move slowly, and we are ok with you staying here as a member of the Stone Moon pack, but I want you to know that when and if you are ever ready, you are welcome to come to my pack and live with us there. I won’t insist on it as I see you are comfortable with the Gammas family” He glances up at Bryan and thanks him for getting me out of the Howling Wolf pack, and Bryan nods back at him. Alpha Harris continues “We can take this as slowly as you like, but I would like to talk with you while we are here today and tomorrow to try to get to know you better. If that is ok with you?’.
I nod at him and whisper “They are tears of joy, and I would love to get to talk to you all as well. I can’t believe I have an actual family that could love me” and the tears just break free and run down my face.
“Dad, you have upset her, this is supposed to be a good day with the best present that I have ever received, and you have her bawling her eyes out,” Tyler says, and he gets up from the couch and comes over to me. “Can I hug you?” he asks me.
I nod at him and get up from my chair, trying to see him through my tears. He pulls me in for a hug and I cry even harder, I have a brother, no I have two brothers and I hear the other one gets up from the couch and come to me to hug me as well. Both my brothers have my eye color and I see that we got it from our dad. I love having this small similarity, and it also looks like I have their nose too, just the smaller version of it. The main difference between us is my blonde hair, and my full lips, which I apparently got from my mother, and they have dad’s darker hair color.
Alpha Andrew and Luna Monica get up and tell us that they will give us some time alone and exit the office with Bryan.
“What did you mean by the best present?” I ask.
“Oh, well today is my 18th birthday. Hopefully I will get to phase into my wolf sometime today”. Tyler replies.
“I am sorry, but which brother are you? I was listening but finding out that I actually have a family is causing me to be a little unfocused” I tell him.
“I am Tyler, and this is Tate. He will be turning 18 in six months, in July. We are both hoping to be white wolves too. I will find out today” Tyler states.
“My birthday was yesterday, that is the reason that we left Howling Wolf pack. Nicole is my best friend, and her parents; Aubrey, and Bryan, were kind enough to take me with them when they came here. My friend Jessica also came with us as we are all going to graduate this year from High School. And she wanted to be with me for it, for support. There have been some problems I have recently gone through” I tell them.
“Why did you have to leave your pack on your birthday Jade?” Tyler asks me.
“Well, I had a really rough time at that pack and things in the last week had made it tough to want to stay there. Nicole and Jessica were the only positives about my old pack. But yesterday when I got to school, I ended up finding my mate” I told them.
“Oh honey, that is wonderful” the lady from the couch stood up and approached me with my father. “It is always a blessing from the Goddess to meet your true mate, I am so happy for you,” she says.
“Who is the lucky man?” my father asks.
