Only seconds later Koda walked down the hall shaking his wet hands but his eyes widened at the scene before him and he rushed over.
“Baby?!’ He grabbed me and pulled me into a hug “Are you okay, Brad, what happened?”
“He tried to get fresh with the Luna” The guard answered
“He what?!” Koda growled and his eyes turned black
“Im here!” I heard Jaxson say breathlessly as he ran over, Koda must have linked him and he came running, it was nice that someone cared so much about me “What’s going on?”
“I didn’t know she was the Luna” The man struggled under Brads tight grip “She should have said something”
“She said she had a mate you b*tch” Brad shouted in his face “That should have been enough for you to back off!”
Jaxson growled and walked over to the man who now looked terrified as both Cole and Evet came over to us looking confused, Jaxson rushing off must have made them concerned so they’d followed him
“Let him go”
Brad released his captive and backed away, standing by my side where Koda was holding me and looking furious
“Did you touch my girl?” Jaxson asked as his claws came out
‘No” The man shook his head nervously but Brad growled
‘Don’t lie to your ALPHA!” Brad shouted before turning to Jaxson.
I noticed a few club guests looking over at us and casually coming closer to hear what was happening
“He touched her face” Brad answered
Jaxson grabbed the man by his throat and slammed him back up against the wall but turned to Brad “Explain to me how someone got close enough to touch my girl before you stepped in?”
“I’m sorry Alpha” He looked down in shame “I thought she’d do something but when it became clear she was too afraid to push him away, I did grabbed him”
“Fair enough” Jaxson nodded and turned to the man who was standing there afraid
“In the future you are to step in straight away, reguardless of Maddie’s reaction” Koda said Brad who nodded and looked at me in concern for a moment, he was probably wondering why I such a coward
“Now” Jaxson said to the man “What should we do with you?”
“Kill him” Koda said firmly and I looked up at him with wide eyes
“No, please don’t” I said quickly and rushed over to Jax and touched his arm “He’s just drunk and he didn’t know we were mates”
Jaxson looked down at me like I was crazy “Get her out of here”
Koda didn’t speak but he came over and grabbed my wrist and pulled me from the club and back into the car.
“Koda whats going on?” I asked as he slammed the car door closed “Is Jax going to kill that man?”
“Put your belt on” Was all he said and sat with his arms crossed.
He looked furious and his breathing was layboured so I didn’t push it, he was scarry right now so I just pulled on my belt, a few seconds later Jaxson came walking towards the car wiping his hands on a cloth or handkerchief before climbing into the car..
“Go” Koda ordered our driver and he started driving away from the club
‘WHERE THE F*CK WERE YOU!” Jaxson screamed over me at Koda “WHY WAS SHE ALONE!!”
“DO NOT SHOUT AT ME OR I’LL THROW YOU FROM THE DAM CAR!” Koda shouted back and I cringed in between them “I HAD TO PISS, I THOUGHT SHE’D BE SAFE WITH THE GUARDS!”
‘WELL SHE F*CKING WASN’T!” Jaxson went on “WHAT IF IT HAD BEEN TROY OR SCOTT!?”
I started shaking and closed my eyes, no, don’t have a panic attack, why are you so weak, stop it!!
“SHUT UP!” Koda snapped “CAN’T YOU SEE YOU’RE SCARING HER!”
“I’m sorry Madelyn” Jax said and gently touched me but I jumped in fear and he quickly pulled me and hugged me ‘Don’t be afraid, we’re not mad at you, we were just scared you’d been hurt”
“I shouldn’t have left you alone baby” Koda added and I felt his head lean into my shoulder and throat “Please forgive me”
“Did you kill him?”
“No” Jaxson sounded disapointed by this “But his actions didn’t go unpunished”
Everyone was silent for the rest of the ride and I didn’t push it, from experience, Alpha’s had worst tempers then others and needed peace to calm down.
MADELYN’S POV
We arrived back at the tower and silently went inside and into our bedroom. I felt awful for how the evening ended, I’d ruined the end of the day just like I’d ruined the end of mine and Koda’s day at the mall.
We went into the bedroom, and I was eager to shower and warm.
“Did you have fun tonight before everything happened?” Koda asked.
“Yes’ I smiled “Thank you for taking me, I’m sorry I ruined the night”
The twins froze for a second “You didn’t ruin anything Maddie” Koda told me.
“None of this is your fault” Jax told me “You’re gorgeous, of course men are going to want you, it’s just something we’ll have to deal with for having such a desirable mate”
I was stumped by his comment. Desirable? Gorgeous? No one had ever used those words to describe me.
“Well this wasn’t how I hoped the night would go” Koda admitted as he looked at me with longing and I gulped nervously.
“It still could” Jaxson commented with hope.
“I’m not ready”
“That’s okay baby, let’s just take a shower and get to bed” Koda suggested “Jax has to get up early”
“Shut up” Jax laughed.
I pulled off Jax’s jacket and placed it on the chair but reminded myself to grab the note out before anyone saw it.
“You know” Jaxson said thoughtfully as I went to walk over to the closet.
I turned back to him and he was looking at me with a calculating stare.
“It occurs to me that you may just be turning us down because you don’t actually know how fantastic if feels to have someone touch you” He pointed out “Especially your mate”
