Chapter 50 – Deceiving my Big Bad Alphas (Kai Savage) Novel Free Online Free by Nina P

“Double fucked.”

I closed my eyes, tried to think of anything else. Anything that wasn’t Kai wet and naked and three feet away with only a thin stall wall between us.

“Okay,” I said through clenched teeth. “Let’s focus on literally anything else or I’m going to barge into that shower like a feral animal.”

“Right. Reyes,” Dalton gritted. “How we deal with him.”

I pushed off the locker, finally anchoring myself on something that didn’t involve Kai and

water.

“Are we dealing with him?” I asked.

Dalton shot me a look like I’d grown a second head.

“Are we not?! The asshole is touchy, over-friendly, no boundaries-and he just tried to grope her!”

“As if I don’t fucking know that,” I hissed. “But she’ll get mad if we touch him. She just took a liking to that golden retriever mutt.”

Dalton’s lip curled. “Though…”

I turned slowly. “Though?”

“We could do something… unhinged. Crazy. Funny.”

“Without getting caught,” I added, narrowing my eyes.

Dalton’s smirk was sharp enough to cut steel. “Exactly.”

I shook my head, exasperated. “What do you have in that wicked little mind of yours?”

He looked way too pleased with himself.

“I’ll tell you about it later,” he said. “Just have to check a couple things first.”

“You’re weird.”

“I know.”

Onyx, my wolf, growled low in the back of my mind.

‘She should already be marked.’

‘She’s not ready.’

‘She’s mine.’

‘Ours,’ I corrected him.

He didn’t answer. Not with words. Just more heat. More desire. A flash of fang and claws, a vision of Kai on her knees with our marks glowing on her skin. Her lips parted in surrender.

I bit my tongue hard enough to taste blood.

I was going insane.

With the worst case of blue balls in history.

Focus.

But my thoughts weren’t listening. They were already in that stall with her-dripping water from her skin to my mouth, her breath caught between a gasp and a moan.

I wasn’t going insane. I was already there. And Onyx? He was building a fucking throne in the middle of my madness.

Dalton was still talking. “We have to plant something in his room.”

I blinked. “What?”

Dalton didn’t answer right away. He turned back to the lockers, yanked open his duffel bag, and started digging through it like a man on a mission.

“I want to hear everything,” he said, voice low and sharp. “Every conversation. Every whisper.

If he or one of those twin bastards-so much as breathes her name, I want to know.”

My brows furrowed. “That’s… fair,” I muttered after a beat. “Yeah. That’s just fair.”

Because she was in danger.

Obviously.

We weren’t stalking her.

We were protecting her-from possible threats. Real threats. Strategic surveillance of potential enemies in her pack. Totally normal. Totally justified.

Surveillance, not stalking. Security, not obsession.

We were noble. Altruistic. Practically heroes.

…Right?

Onyx hummed in agreement, though it sounded a hell of a lot like hunger.

About ten minutes later, the shower shut off. Steam drifted out of the stall like smoke from a battlefield.

And then she appeared.

Kai walked out with a towel wrapped tight around her like she knew exactly what she was doing to us-and didn’t give a damn. Skin flushed from the heat. Hair damp. Eyes cool and lethal.

“My turn’s over,” she said, smirking as she passed. “Try not to kill each other while I get dressed.”

Dalton stared after her like she was a goddess walking off into the mist.

I couldn’t even pretend to look away.

We were so fucked.

I turned my head slowly.

Dalton was already looking at me.

Neither of us said a word. We didn’t need to.

We knew.

I saw the exact same image flashing behind his eyes that haunted mine-Kai, soaked and flushed, steam rising around her like smoke from a goddamn fantasy.

I exhaled hard through my nose. “Shit.”

Dalton leaned his head back against the locker, jaw tight. “It’s gonna be like last time, isn’t it?”

I groaned.

Last time.

That shameful, desperate, humiliating moment when we’d both ended up in separate stalls, jerking off like fucking animals, trying not to think about how close she was. And failing.

I’d come with her name on my lips.

And I knew damn well Dalton had too.

“Don’t say it,” I muttered.

Dalton snorted. “Too late.”

We both stared at the ceiling like it might offer salvation. It didn’t.

KAI POV

I was halfway through binding my chest when Summer’s ears perked up in the back of my mind.

‘Something’s happening,’ she said, barely a whisper, barely a thought.

But it wasn’t fear that hit me.

It was them.

Their scent rolled in like a storm front-rich, musky, warm. Masculine. Dangerous. Addicting.

I paused, hands still gripping the bandage against my ribcage. My breathing slowed, sharpened. My pulse jumped beneath my skin, heat creeping over my spine. Summer was alert now, but not in the way I expected.

No.

She was focused. Hungry.

I closed my eyes and tried to block them out. I’d already fried their asses once today, and gods knew they deserved it. But even then, Derrick had muttered my name like a prayer and Dalton had grinned like a devil.

Idiots.
