Add strength to this pack.
Thatll work, Parker ! Axel huffed.
That man will already know whose pup it is.
He didn’t say anything to you last time we were here or when in your pack.
Yes, a pure blooded Alpha pup, Shannon sighed, and with you not picking up anything the last time you were here, hes going to be on Bellas side.
You know the history of this pack.
They were considered the Rejected Pack, where those rejected by their mates came for sanctuary.
Parker sighed heavily now, he also knew that Alpha Aston and his Luna were chosen Mates, had been rejected by their Goddess Gifted Mates.
They were both going to be on Belladonnas side, seeing as he’d been here a year ago, and not even raised the question of his child.
That man had seen him talk to Belladonna, twice, and asked him why he was interested in her.
He’d stated he just wanted to know she was alright.
Now he realised why that man had asked that question.
Yes, he knew that Parker was the child or childrens father and not once had Parker asked after his own heir.
He closed his eyes, this was going to be a nightmare.
I dont think being pure blooded will come into play.
He murmured finally Its more likely we are rejected and, for 9 years, have a fully signed separation agreement.
If hes seen that, and from what Im recalling of his questions from my last visit.
Id say he has, then I have no say over her.
I will hold no power at all, she herself is Alpha blooded.
Likely the best damn pack doctor there is out there, for births.
Hell want to keep her for that alone.
And he knew that Alpha and Luna to this pack would.
Even he would take her back into his pack, as just a pack doctor, if is she would go, Annette would be ecstatic, and the pack would be very happy about it.
Back downstairs boys.
I want to lay eyes on her, and hopefully my child or children as well.
They all went back downstairs and sat themselves by that window once more, to keep watch over the front of the packhouse.
They’d already been asked to steer clear of the back of the packhouse, there was a party going on for one of the kids.
Likely where his child had been going, and he had to respect the Alphas wishes.
It wasn’t his pack.
Shannon mind linked to him as they sat there.
It was likely she didn’t know she was pregnant when she left, and then, with you having a Goddess Gifted, didn’t want to risk harm coming to herself or her pup.
His Gamma told him.
I would have protected them.
He stated.
You would have tried, you cant be there every minute of the day.
Youve seen it yourself.
Lunas hating … His Gamma sighed heavily.
What is it? Parked asked him when he trailed off.
Thinking back, I believe Belladonna was just that … the Alphas bastard daughter.
She smelled different to her sisters, so a different mother, if I recall, Kane mentioned her mother died in childbirth.
She lived with her grandmother … The Luna didn’t like her, I got that loud and clear.
Parker sighed now himself, she would have had her own thoughts on the issue when she realised in other words.
She’d also gotten to see Carina be, or try to be, very possessive over him when she’d walked into that packhouse, angry possessive even.
So yes, his Gamma was right, Belladonna likely had what would be very valid reasons not to tell him about their pup.
Even though she knew he had wanted one with her, she’d opted not to tell him, for likely, more than one reason in her mind, and Shannon was right.
He could try to protect her, when inside that pack, but the moment he wasn’t there and that was every other day, anything could have happened to her, to their child.
He still wasn’t happy about it though.
Bella
She’d reset four dislocations from that hardcore training with the Luna.
She understood why they did it, but didn’t think it was at all necessary for anyone to learn to fight like that.
Then she’d had two 14 year old boys, twin brothers, who’d snuck out and onto the agility course unsupervised, on a dare from other kids, to run it without getting caught.
They had both gotten themselves injured due to trying to stop each other from beating themselves.
One was now in the pack hospital in traction, after breaking his left femur and fracturing his hip bone as well, and though there were surgical procedures to fix those things, if she performed them on the boy who had no wolf, when he got his wolf it was likely the wolf would be lame on his left back leg.
The best option for young wolfen children was traction to weight the bones and pull them gently back into their natural alignment.
So, there were no pins or rods holding them together, something that would get in the way of their first shift.
Something that was likely to cause more pain than was necessary.
Because a shift would rip the pins and rods from the human, and therefore, they’d be injured.
So, this boy, Hank, was now here in the hospital for a period of at least six weeks, possibly longer.
The other boy, Samson, could be released from the hospital.
She’d set his broken arm, and he was now sporting a cast to help it heal.
But he was sitting there with his twin keeping him company.
Mala had come in here and stared at those two boys, chastised them about being out there on that course, and alone, without any supervision, other than other children egging them on.
She was very disappointed in them.
She’d told them they were old enough to know better.
They were, in fact, the two oldest teens in the pack and were always cheeky; brothers that liked to get into a bit of mischief, and they’d gotten more than they bargained for this time.
Mala had told them that Aston was aware of the situation, and he was going to come down here to have words with them himself.
