“Alpha Eric .” He greeted me hesitantly , it was usually easy to tell whether my presence intimidated someone and he was most definitely afraid . “What can I do for you today ? “
“Tell me why Princess Lucy came to visit you .” I ordered , not bothering to waste any time on letting him know about my intentions .
All the b***d drained from his face at my words . He immediately looked away , his hands trembling as he picked up some files from the desk .
“You know I’m not at liberty to discuss any of my patients-” He started . I gripped his collar roughly and pulled him onto the table , not giving him a chance to continue the rest of that sentence .
“Don’t make me force it out of you doctor .” I threatened , glaring at him .
His eyes widened and he raised his hands in surrender .”S-she’s pregnant .” He blurted out .
Shock tore through me .
Lucy was pregnant ? When did they even have time too it had to have happened when they were at the council .
This changed everything , I couldn’t have her coming back three months from now and yet again ruining my plans by bringing her baby .
I had no choice but to kill her now .
I mind linked Zagan . ‘ Bring her back to my territory .’
It was a good thing I had him tracking Lucy since she’d left Jeremy’s residence . As soon as we had her back in my territory , that was it , I would get rid of her for good .

AUSTIn’S POV:
” You’re saying all of your feelings for Ariana just vanished ?” Maya asked in shock , looking at me as if I were mad for speaking such words .
I nodded , trying to stay calm and keep a clear mind from everything that had unfolded in just one day .
“How is that even possible ? ” My mother asked , leaning against my father for support .
“I’ve come to one conclusion I had to have been under a spell .” I finally muttered , my body stiffening at my own words . ” It’s the only thing that makes sense to me .”
“And it had to be from Ariana .” Lucas concluded .” for if you were under a spell to make you believe she were your mate then what was her excuse for sticking around she must have known you weren’t her mate all along .”
He was right . I had already thought about that , Ariana would have already known I wasn’t her mate and she didn’t mention a word to me which meant she was the one to put the spell on me .
But why ? I didn’t want to put any false accusations however , the only way to prove this were true was to visit an actual witch and have them confirm it for me .
If it were true however my b***d boiled at that sickening thought , someone was definitely going to f*****g die .
Loud footsteps brought my attention to the doorway , my eyes falling on the two figures there .
“What is he doing here ?” I asked as James entered with Valerio , the young boy who had asked to join my pack after giving me information that Lucy was Alpha Richard’s son . James and I had discussed it after our return from the council , Valerio was to join his pack instead and the boy was happy with that decision so we had stuck with it . now they looked like they had important information to give to me , I knew that look from James all too well and I was impatient to find out what they had for me .
My brother waited for the boy to speak but just like our last encounter he was afraid to say anything , especially after studying my rage . “Valerio isn’t just a werewolf he’s a hybrid . ” He explained . ” His mother is a witch .”
I took a step closer to the boy at my brother’s words , if this were indeed true then he could give to me the confirmation I needed to hear .
“I sensed a spell on you the first time we’d met but I didn’t say anything because I wasn’t sure my witch senses aren’t that strong yet . I didn’t want to point it out unless I was positive .” The boy finally willed himself to say , looking everywhere but at me .
I peered at the boy without actually seeing him , his words clawing at me and ripping me apart . fire raced through my veins and fueled my anger at the clarity his words brought forward .
It was confirmed .
I was under a f*****g spell ?
All this time I stood up for Ariana thinking she was my mate , it was all for nothing ? All because I was under a f*****g spell ?
I lost Lucy over A f*****g SPELL ? My mind burned with images of the many times Lucy had hurt because of me foolishly taking Ariana’s side over hers .
All along Lucy was my mate and she had to stand there and watch me claim to love another , I couldn’t even begin to imagine the pain I’d put her through , it would have broken her heart into tiny pieces to see her own mate with someone else , the one person who was supposed to love and cherish her with everything within him , giving that love to someone else right in front of her . The hurt in her eyes that I’d put there on multiple occasions were haunting me now , killing me inside .
What had I done ?
I’d put my true mate , my true love through the worst pain possible All because I couldn’t recognize that someone had f*****g messed with me and placed me under some God forsaken spell . How could I have not seen it ? All the signs were there , from the minute I’d laid eyes on Lucy I should have f*****g known that she was MInE .
I was a f*****g piece of s**t , I hated myself I wanted to rip myself apart with the amount of self hatred racing through my veins now .
“WHAT HAVE I DOnEEEEE -” I roared , my voice crazed and unrecognizable to my own ear . The guilt within me was eating at me raw , taking away the little sanity I had left within me after finding out Lucy had left me .
I fell to the ground as I let out another soul shattering roar of agony , I rose up and started pelting furniture throughout the room , smashing my fists against the glass tables . My brothers were immediately by my side , pulling me back and forcing me to stop harming myself . But I didn’t want to stop , seeing the b***d trickle down my hands was helping , the more I hurt myself for causing Lucy pain , the more would I feel at ease but I knew nothing would fully cure me until I had gotten Lucy’s forgiveness for what I had done .
But would I get it ? for I wasn’t even worthy of forgiveness after what I’d done to her .
