“Yea, you want to get your nasty hands off of her right now” I hear Dixon say.
“Dude if we tell you again, it is going to be really bad for you” I hear Travis say.
“I don’t know who you guys are, but this is my ex-girlfriend, we had a little misunderstanding, and we are trying to work through it. So, mind your own business and leave us alone” Eric says to them.
“The only thing that you’ll be working through is a cold compress for your eye if you don’t take your hands off my friend right this second” I hear Bree say.
I twist my head around and see my friends lined up to defend me, including the two guys that Bree and Nicole had been talking to. I breathe a sigh of relief and move to let Eric know that I want up. He presses himself into me again, before he gets up and I crab walk myself back towards Tate and Dixon and I don’t take my eyes off Eric until I get to their feet. They each take one of my arms and gently help me up from the ground.
“You, Ok?’ Tate asks me, never taking his eyes off of Eric.
“Yes, I am now,” I tell him. They each give the arm that they are holding a little squeeze, letting me know I don’t have anything to worry about, they have got me.
Tate and Dixon then push me gently behind them and turn back to look at Eric.
“What have we told you? My brother told you when you followed her to Sedona that he was going to kill if you came after Jade again, yet here we are” Tate says.
“I am a Soon-to-be Alpha; you can’t threaten me” Eric yells at Tate.
“Well Stupid, so is Tyler. You have got to be the dumbest Alpha to ever draw a breath. If you ever see her again. Walk the other way. Do not approach her. And most importantly do NOT touch her ever again” Tate looks past Eric at the group standing behind him and says “None of you guys. None of you will touch her ever again. I don’t know how your pack has survived this long with total idiots running it, but I will say it one more time as I think you need it, if you see her again this week, this month, this year, this lifetime. I need you to turn and walk away. Are we all on the same page now?” Tate says to them and takes time to look them all in the eye.
“I don’t take orders from you, whoever you are, and she likes me so the next time you see us we could be out on a date. You can’t stop me, and you don’t scare me. If I want her, it is a matter of time before I get her. Willing or unwilling” Eric says back to Tate.
Tate roars and lunges forward. He punches Eric in the face, and they start fighting, dropping to the ground, and punching each other. Kyle and Travis then start fighting. Jeremy comes forward yelling at me about starting this whole thing when Dixon pushes me further behind him and steps up and punches Jeremy in the mouth. Danica and Sophia come forward aggressively yelling at me and calling me a slut, Bree steps up next to me and says, “You two really willing to bet that you can take us both on and win? Because I guarantee you both, that you can’t”.
They then start backing up from me, with Danica calling over to me “Next time bitch, we will catch you alone and finish this”. I know that Danica is mad because her boyfriend just told everyone present that he wants me. The girls call over at Eric, Jeremy, and Kyle as the scuffle is over to come one with them. Eric is laying on his back on the ground. When he gets up, I see that Eric has a split lip and a blackened eye, but Tate doesn’t look like he took a blow from Eric, Jeremy has bruising coming up on his face and chest, but Dixon also looks fine. Kyle has a bloody nose, but Travis also looks unscathed. I am glad they guys didn’t get hurt defending me, that would have really upset me.
