My heart sped up , my wolf standing still as we waited for him to continue . what the f**k was he talking about ? All this time Lucy was being by him and I didn’t know?
no that couldn’t be true , I should have been able to sense she was in danger .
“Yes Austin Lucy is probably already dead by now .”
Everything around me became motionless as my mind refused to come to terms with his brutal words no. it wasn’t possible ! nothing could have happened to Lucy , I would be able to feel the loss of the bond the moment something did , would be able to feel my heart lose it’s will to beat . She had to be alive ! But by the way Eric seemed so confident about her death made me panic , everything around me beginning to spin , she couldn’t be gone no , I couldn’t live without her . Lucy couldn’t be GOnE!
My wolf threw his head back and let out an ear piercing howl of agony towards the bright moonlight followed by the howls of all of my pack members , crying out for the loss of Lucy . My wolf was raging as he turned back to Eric , one thing on both of our minds and one thing only . TO DESTROY ERIC AnD HIS BLOODY PACK!
I leaped into the air , trying to reach him and rip him into shreds but was blocked by his pack members . They all pounced on me the same time , preventing me from going forward .
I’d have to go through every single one of them before I could reach him but I didn’t care , I would kill them all even if I had to do it with my last f*****g dying breath !
LUCY’S POV :
I was becoming more anxious by each second that went by , after I’d explain to my brothers what was going down they were more than happy to help me a bit shocked at first but still happy to help .
In fact Ermanno’s exact words were ‘ We’re more than ready to f*****g rip Eric and his pack apart ‘, followed by Marcus’s ‘HELL YEAH’ and the rest of my brothers nod of agreement , they seemed just as determined as I were to finally get rid of Eric and his evil minions . I couldn’t blame them , they were in trouble now only because of that piece of s**t and I couldn’t wait to see him pay for making all of us suffer .
We had been racing through the forest for hours now , our wolves pacing through the narrow pathways , leaping over fallen trees and running as fast as we could . I was becoming restless for the trip back to Austin seemed to be taking forever and it was slowly killing me inside not knowing in what state he or everyone else was in .
And then we heard it , a powerful howl followed by multiple howls of agony I stopped running in shock , my b***d crawling in fear of what those howls meant .
OH nO! Were we already too late ? Did someone I care about already die ?
I couldn’t move , fear clamping down on me and making everything around me turn motionless . My brother’s wolf gently nudged me , telling me that we had to keep going , that we couldn’t stop now . I didn’t need to be told twice , my wolf gaining more strength and determination than she ever did before , her long jumps even bigger than that of my powerful brother’s .
We were racing to those we loved , racing to save them , racing to see them once more and keep them safe from those who wanted to harm them I’m coming Austin I’m coming.
AUSTIn’S POV:
I was in the middle of ripping apart Eric’s pack when a loud howl rippled through the air and shook the trees around us , I froze recognizing the sound immediately Lucy .
My head snapped up in time to see five wolves jumping into the fight , a group of powerful wolves I’d once fought . Lucy’s brothers . What were they doing here?
I didn’t have time to ponder on that thought for right after I spotted Lucy’s wolf , she made a grand entrance as she leaped into the air , her beauty like always shone brightly , power radiating out from her in great waves as she landed right in the middle of Eric’s pack , followed by each of her brothers on all different sides of her .
My mate .
My love the woman of my dreams my everything .
She was alive , the relief I felt at that fact made me the happiest man alive , she was alive Lucy was alive .
And she came to save us , she came back to save my pack and I even after everything I’d done to her , even after the way I’d treated her , the fact that she did blew my mind . She was an amazing woman indeed , no one could compare I didn’t deserve her f*****g no one did . I could feel the relief and happiness of all of my pack members through the pack link at seeing her and her brothers , we had hope now things were actually going in our favor , we could all come out of this alive .
I suddenly felt a bolt of energy rush through my body , the strength of my wolf increasing at having his mate alive and at his side we were about to take Eric DOWn!
LUCY’S POV:
Eric was staring at my brothers and I in shock , probably shocked to see that I was still alive and breathing after leaving Ariana behind to finish me off , probably even more shock that I’d had time to bring my brothers along with me to help bring him down and see to it that his plan was a complete failure . His eyes narrowed as he glared at us , hatred pouring out of him in great waves before he let out a loud roar and shifted right before our eyes into a huge reddish brown wolf that resembled Ariana’s but was just a lot bigger .
He growled at us , his eyes moving from one brother to the next until they finally settled back on me . It was official , the wolf wanted me dead nothing new there .
My brothers and I begun to circle his wolf , Ermanno was the first to attack sinking his teeth into Eric’s back , my brothers and I joined in right after , biting into different parts of him . Eric’s wolf yelped in pain as he tried to shake us off him but none of us were letting go and we weren’t planning too until we were finished with him , none of us stopped not even when some of Eric’s pack members started to advance on us from all different directions . Suddenly , out of nowhere I felt a sharp pain in my bones , I let go of Eric unable to concentrate through the pain and looked around only to realize that all of the wolves on our side were experiencing the same torture .
What was causing this ? My eyes continued to scan my surroundings until they spotted a woman a little distance away from the battle . I froze , understanding what was happening now .
Marianne The witch responsible for putting Austin under the spell !
She was Eric’s back up plan , that was why she was here . To help him if things went bad , it all made sense now , Eric truly had thought about everything for his plans to succeed this time .
Things weren’t looking to good for us anymore , she was preventing us from using our full strength , giving the enemies the upper hand . I watched in horror as Eric’s pack begun to attack us from all directions , my brothers as well as Austin and the packs were trying hard to fight back despite the pain infliction we were experiencing from the disgusting witch .
A loud powerful howl suddenly echoed throughout the night sky , I followed the sound and spotted a large black grey wolf in the air before he came crashing down onto Eric’s wolf . W-what?
Surely it couldn’t be true , but it was my father !
H-he came ?
There was a woman on his back and she quickly stepped down and faced Marianne.
