I didn’t regret any single experience however, those moments helped me to grow and become the woman I am today, it helped to make me stronger in order to fight for the people that mattered to me…for the people that I loved. Made me stronger so I could be a worthy enough mother to my baby.
Before I came here, I had no one…no one that cared for me, no one that would fight to keep me safe and now I was surrounded by people that would give their lives for me. To say that I was blessed would be an understatement.
I looked at the people around me, from Austin to Austin’s family, then to mine and back to Austin, the love inside of me was threatening to explode…God how I loved them all.
“I wasn’t sure if we should mention this to you.” Ermanno announced.
By the tone of his voice everyone shut their mouths to let him finish. I could tell that he was hesitant to say anything and by the way all of my brothers stiffened it was surely something none of them were happy about.
“The wedding between Eden and Hunter has been finalized, in fact arrangements are already being made for the engagement ceremony.” He finally continued.
Everyone froze, the tension in the air suddenly rose despite being calm just a few minutes ago.

That couldn’t happen, they couldn’t do that to my sister…couldn’t do that to James!
Oh my God…James!
I hadn’t even realized he had left upon hearing the news.
“I’ll go check on James.” Maya said walking off.
Austin wrapped his arms around me supportively. “It’s going to be okay,” he whispered before placing a k**s on my forehead. “I’ll do whatever I can to help your sister through this…this is my promise to you.”
As I buried my head against Austin’s chest with his arms wrapped around me protectively as he spoke to my brothers…I could feel the strength within me grow and immediately I knew, I just knew that as long as Austin was by my side, I could face anything… as long as we had each other, we would be okay. for I loved Austin and he loved me and that was all that mattered. We would get through this together and we would fight to save those we loved!

It was not like they wanted to , we all had no choice , it was the decision that was made for us when our father had joined the council years ago .
The council had many rules , one of their main one being : kill , or be killed .
Though all of these experiences left me with scars within , nothing really scared me more than knowing that I’d never belong to anyone other than the council not even my own mate would have claim on me .
