“Are you okay?” I asked and leant back, checking for any injuries
“I’m fine, how was the meeting?”
My face fell and Jax looked concerned as he stared from me to Koda.
“She..” Koda said gently “She did well and father’s made it clear that she’s chosen us and not that piece of sh*t Scott”
“Good” Jax nodded as he looked at me with a strange look
“Is something wrong?” I asked him but he shook his head
“I’m just glad to see you again”
“Well I’ll let you guys have some time alone” Koda said as he walked over to us ‘Have a great day baby”
“You too”
Koda leant down and kissed me softly but when I went to pull away, he grabbed my face and deepened the kiss
“Get off’ Jaxson complained ‘You had her all night, it’s my turn, go to work”
Koda pulled back and softly punched his brother, I was confused but then I realized that Jax had wiped paint on Koda’s cheek
“Dam it Jax” Koda scowled at his brother and wiped his cheek, coating his fingers in green paint ‘I have to go back to the office”
He wiped the green paint back over Jaxsons face and I giggled and held my hands over mouth
“Is that funny to you?” Jax asked and flicked his fingers at me and sprayed my face with paint
I gasped and reached out my hand, causing paint to fly from the container and land on my mate
Jaxson looked at me in shock and I froze, what did I just do, I hadn’t even thought about it, I just reacted and I was scared I’d gone to far and that he’d be mad but when a mischifous grin appeared on his face I relaxed
“You want to go?” He enquired “Then lets go”
He grabbed a large handfull of paint and hit me with it
“Don’t throw paint at her” Koda ordered and hit his brother with some more paint, hitting him in the chest as I leant back to avoid it but I still got splattered “Sorry baby”
But I simply threw more paint at him to get even and this started a major paint war, both men ganged up on me and continued to splatter paint all over me and I in turn used my powers to cause paint to coat them both.
I’d never used my powers for fun before and it felt very strange, in fact, I’d never had fun like this ever, we were all laughing and pretty much destroyed Jaxson’s studio
We were all laughing while Koda held me as I struggled and Jaxson messed my hair up with paints so I used my powers to bring two tubes of paint to us and I made the paint fall down over the twins heads.
“Okay, truce!” Koda let me go and wiped paint off his face
“Truce” Jaxson agreed
“No way, I’m wearing way more paint then either of you two” I giggled and sprayed them with more paint before dashing being a huge canvas while the boys laughed again
“Fare enough but I gave you an out” Koda grabbed another handful of paint and went to throw it at me but Jax grabbed his hand.
“No, stop” He ordered seriously “You’ll ruin the painting”
I stood up and looked at the painting I was hiding behind and saw myself, I was sitting against a tree holding a book but I looked a little younger then I was now and I was wearing clothes I hadn’t seen in years, how did Jax know I’d owned that outfit and why did this scene look familiar to me?
The painting was only half done but Jaxson had made me look very pretty and I blushed a little and looked back at Jaxson
“This is me”
“You’re my muse” Jax smiled and put him paint covered hands in the pockets of his pants “Do you like it?”
“Yes” I answered “You’ve made me look beautiful”
The boys laughed and Jax rolled his eyes “You are beautiful”
“Ah” Koda shrugged as he looked at the painting “I’ve seen better” Before I could be offended, he laughed and tickled me “Kidding, you’re stunning”
“Thanks” I smirked and shoved him
“Lets go get washed up” Koda declared as he wiped his hands on his pants “I need to shower and changed and get back to the office”
“Good idea” Jaxson agreed “I have some fun plans with Madelyn we need to get started on”
Jaxson came over to me and flipped me up over his shoulder, I laughed in surprise and he carried me out of the studio, I was dangling over Jaxsons shoulder as he carried me down the hall with Koda beside us
“Alpha’s… Luna!’ Julia’s voice echoed from behind us.
We paused and Jax turned us to face her, she was standing with her hands on her hips and looking very cross
“You’re getting paint everywhere’ She complained and gestured to the trail of footprints in various paint colours behind us
“Sorry’ I said quickly “It was the twins”
The boys laughed and looked at me
“You little brat” Koda laughed and slapped my behind playfully “How dare you throw us under the bus”
I giggled and blushed as I swatted his hand away
“Just clean this up please” Jaxson ordered “We’ll give you a bonus this week as thanks for the extra work”
Jax turned and we all continued down the hallway towards our bedroom
Once we were in the bedroom, Jax placed me onto my feet and smirked at me “Go wash up and we’ll go shower in the spare bathrooms again”
As the boys began to walk into their closet, I bit my lip nervously but I didn’t want them go so I voiced my thoughts before I could chicken out.
“Wait” I said as I nervously fidgeted with my fingers “Can we…um… can we shower together?”
The twins looked shocked but delighted and quickly glanced at each other “Are you sure?” Jax asked
“Yes”
“Okay’
Koda walked back to me and held out his hand, which I shakily took and he pulled me quietly behind him, was it only seconds ago that we were laughing and now I couldn’t even speak.
