Life’s Spiced Up with Some Werewolf Reads

Chapter 68 – Belladonna The Rejected Luna

Something that had happened nine years ago, without his knowledge or consent, and just two weeks after Bella had left him, there was betrayal written all over this, and it had all started barely two weeks after being mated to Carina.

That bloody she wolf had betrayed him right from the very beginning, and here was the proof of what she had done.

Multiple accounts of her lying to him over many days.

He knew the actual date now of when Belladonna had found out she was pregnant.

It was in those emails, he also recalled the actual date that she’d rejected him.

A day he still hated every year, and a day he was not in the pack for, a day he was never near Carina either.

He spent that very night every year in one of his subsidiary packs.

He couldn’t bring himself to sleep in the same bed as Carina that night, and had certainly never had s * x with her that night, though she had wanted to.

That very first year, she tried to get him to have s * x with her.

Right at the time she knew he would have rejected Belladonna, she had come to his office even, and put herself on his desk wearing practically nothing and tried to get him to have s * x with her in his office, on his desk; not something she’d ever done before.

She’d told him it was their anniversary, and they should have s * x to commemorate it.

He’d stared at her a little confused at first, it wasn’t their anniversary as far as he’d recalled, and so he had looked at the date and time and realised, after only just a moment, exactly what she was trying to do.

He’d looked at her and then told her their anniversary was the next day, and she’d glared at him and told him this was the very moment he’d brought her to the pack, so it was that day.

He’d put her off and she’d not liked it at all.

He told her it was the next day even showed her it was marked on his calender for the next day, told her that they were even going out to dinner for it in the city.

Something she’d organised herself, which she had, she’d picked out the most expensive restaurant in the city, and had booked it two months in advance.

She’d gotten angry with him, about him correcting her and reminding her that she was the one to book everything, and so he was sorry, but he had meetings to go and attend to in one of his other packs and needed to leave now, or he’d be late for it, that he wouldn’t be back until the next day which he had cleared his schedule for their anniversary.

Then he had gotten up and left to go to one of his subsidiary packs.

Now to see that Carina had done this to him! And he knew it was her, it couldn’t be anyone else, she’d gotten that first email, and responded to it even.

She had realised in reading it, with all he’d said to her prior to taking her back to his pack, her having seen Belladonna, the way she was sitting playing with the packs children, being a good Luna.

That she knew he would want to bring Belladonna back into the pack, want to raise that pup as his heir.

Carina knew he and Belladonna had been mated for eight years, that he respected her throughout their mate bond.

He’d not accepted Carina on that full moon, because he’d not liked her attitude and he had stated he had a good Luna, had only taken her home for a trial period.

Had not just accepted her, because he’d not liked what he’d seen of her in her home pack.

He now realised he should have gone with his gut instincts on that girl.

Just rejected her on the spot and kept Belladonna by his side, even though he’d known it would have been wrong of him at the time.

This right here and now, those emails, the signed contract before him, it wasn’t just one more thing to add to her list of unacceptable behaviour.

It was a valid and legitimate reason to utter that rejection of their Mate Bond.

She was never going to change, no matter how much time he gave her.

he understood right now, that she wasn’t going to change even if he gave her everything she wanted.

Waited a hundred years or more, she was still going to be that entitled deceiving person he was coming to understand she truly was.

She was never going to tell him about his heir, a son to Belladonna.

Carina had on purpose kept him from his child, and heir.

He wondered how she thought she was going to get away with it in the long term.

Yes, she had done so for nine years, but when his son got his wolf, Vex would go crazy knowing he had a pup out there somewhere in the world.

It wouldn’t have taken them very long to figure it out, done the math as to when it had been conceived and known it was Belladonnas child.

Hunted her down and demanded an explanation, like he was doing today, and the truth would come out, as it now had.

He had a deceitful, untrustworthy Luna, one that he’d really tried to like over the years, but her personality left a lot to be desired.

Always had done so.

He was bonded to her, but he could give her up, had been thinking about it for years, but now with all this, all the things she’d done prior to this and all the trouble she’d brought to him and his pack, their human world business reputation.

This was the final straw; no more would he deal with it, no more would he be bound to her.

Not even Vex was arguing with him at this point.

His wolfen counterpart Ruby had to know about all the deceit, hadn’t told him.

So it wasn’t just Carina that had deceived them, but her wolf as well.

His eyes moved to Belladonna, Gretta was indeed right, she had done nothing wrong.

She could have opted to say nothing, not let the Council contact him at all about their child, their son.

But she’d agree to let them tell him.

She knew he would want his child with her, likely knew he would have hunted her down and brought her back to the pack, something he knew she wouldn’t want, but she had still allowed them to tell him.

She did the right thing by him, regardless of what it meant for her.

He wanted to know what the boy looked like, what his name was, who he took after, all the things any loving parent would want to know about their child.

All the things Belladonna would have allowed him to have, even though they were rejected mates.

He now knew she actually thought he wasn’t a mean, cruel or a vicious beast of a Mate.

She’d probably even thought that he might make for a good dad, and that was likely why she had agreed to him being informed about his child.

Not that he’d gotten it on his end, though she believed he had been.

No wonder she’d been so calm in this very office just this morning about dealing with him.

Had been unconcerned about him.

All the things she’d said, he knew, he’d relinquished his rights, she had gotten angry with him, because she thought he was just coming in here, to take her son away from her.

Thought that she’d moved on from the alpha council, and he could get it passed her new Alpha and Luna, he supposed, to get what he wanted.

She’d gotten angry with him for the first time ever, and it had shocked him completely.

Freya was angry she’d told him, and now he understood why, they’d done everything right, and believed he was trying to deceive Aston and Mala into making her give up their son.

That he was the one lying.

Alpha Gretta

She stared at Parker for a full minute before stating Interesting … So, what Im taking from this? Is that your Luna, Carina, who, from my understanding, is your Goddess Gifted Mate.

Received that email first.

Then she took it upon herself to respond to all of them herself without your knowledge, accessed your emails and pretended to be you or had someone else do that.

Likely has deleted all the evidence of this as well.
