Life’s Spiced Up with Some Werewolf Reads

Chapter 86 – Fated to the Scarred Wolf Novel Free Online by April L Moon

“Okay, then. If you accept, there’s only one thing left. Lucien and Olivia, we gather here under the Goddess’s moon to bind you two together as mates. It is a lifelong bond, unbreakable, even in death.”

Olivia squeezed my fingers when he said that part. We both knew that death wasn’t strong enough to break us. I lifted her hand, pressing it to my face and holding it there, needing more of her.

“The bond between mates is completed with a bite. It is customary for this to be done privately and must be completed before the moon sinks from the night sky. In the eyes of the Goddess and these witnesses, I bless this joining. Go forth and claim your mate.”

I had her off her feet and in my arms before the small crowd even thought to cheer, and within a second, their cheers turned to laughter as I spun in a circle for the sheer joy of it.

She was mine, finally.

Olivia

Lucien carried me past the small group of witnesses for our bonding ceremony, and I couldn’t stop grinning. I’d never been so happy, even though I was curious what gift he’d picked for me that he couldn’t bring to the ceremony.

Right now, it didn’t matter. We were bonded, and all that was left was for me to give him his bite. I was so ready. The emotions I’d been picking up from him had only grown stronger since he’d bitten me, and I had a feeling that as soon as I bit him, we’d get our mental connection.

That was the only gift I wanted, truly.

To my surprise, he carried me right through the center of the pack lands, away from the beautiful flowering trees, and… away from the bonding house.

“Where are we going?” I finally asked as he carried me straight through the center of our pack’s housing and out into the forest again.

He didn’t answer right away, but just as I began to see lights in the forest, he said, “Our new home.”

I gasped as it came into sight, and tears sprang to my eyes as I took it all in.

It was the perfect little cottage, made of stone, with happy little windows to look out over the giant, empty garden beds waiting for me to fill them on either side of the front door.

“Do you like it?”

I was surprised to hear the worry in his tone, because this… was more than I’d dared dream of. I glanced up, holding his face between my hands and looking him right in the eye so he’d know I meant it. “It’s absolutely perfect. I love it. And I love you.”

He pressed a kiss to my lips that was tender and sweet, but it just stoked my desire for more. I needed him, right now. No more waiting, no more separation. I made an impatient sound in the back of my throat, and that was all the permission he needed.

Lucien carried me over the threshold, right as it started to rain, the gentle droplets kissing my skin like a benediction from the Goddess herself.

I didn’t pull back from the kiss as he carried me to our new bedroom. When he sat me down on the edge of the bed, I finally looked around. It was perfect. Honey-colored wood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a sliding glass door that looked out into a massive, freshly planted garden. There was even a little gazebo in the back that I couldn’t wait to spend my afternoons reading in. Surrounding it all was a high stone wall that matched the house, giving us privacy and space from our new duties.

“I don’t know how you knew, but this is… exactly what we needed.”

He climbed on the bed behind me, wrapping me in his arms, and I relished the feeling of safety and joy and love it gave me, being there in his arms. Surrounded. Protected. Cherished.

With Lucien, I was all of those things. But the need pounding through my veins wouldn’t be denied, and I turned in his arms.

“Luce?”

“Hmm,” he murmured, a contented rumble in his chest making me shudder.

“This is beautiful, and I’m so grateful for all the thought and work you put into making this place amazing for us, but…” I felt the blush creeping up my neck, and he arched an eyebrow.

“Use your words, hellcat. What do you need?”

“I need you to fuck me. Right now. Or I’m going to explode out of my skin.”

He growled, the sound rumbling through our bodies everywhere they touched and lighting up every nerve in my body.

“Careful, now.” He threaded his fingers in my hair, pulling my head back and baring my neck for his hungry gaze. “If you keep talking like that, you might get more than you bargained for.”

Breathless, I looked him in the eye, drawing on all my courage, all my desire. “Good.”

His eyes burned as his hands skimmed over the bare skin left exposed by my dress, his hands reaching the zipper and tearing.

The fabric gave way like tissue paper under his strength, and I felt cool air on my exposed backside, down the tops of my thighs.

“Off,” he demanded, urging the already-low straps down, baring my breasts to the chilly air. They weren’t cold for long, because his mouth was on me as he pressed me back into the bed, worshipping my breasts with finesse with his lips and tongue. His hands made quick work of my dress, leaving me bare for his attention.

He didn’t waste time, his fingers going to my aching core, and, finding me dripping and needy, he plunged two fingers in, curling them up to my G-spot as I adjusted to the sudden intrusion. And what a glorious intrusion it was, making me arch and bow under the force of pleasure flooding through my veins. He drove into me hard and fast, urged on by my cries of pleasure. But when his eyes began to glow and his fangs descended, everything changed. Intensified.

He dropped his teeth to my neck, grazing those wicked fangs over my bite, and I erupted. Pleasure burned me up, coursing through me with more force than I’d ever experienced as I pulsed around his fingers, thighs shaking as I held on to his shoulders for dear life.

“What a good little mate.” The words were a deep rumble, his wolf’s eyes still glowing as he moved over me, pulling me up to my knees so he could plunge into my mouth, claiming me even as his fangs prickled my lower lip.

The taste of copper tinged the kiss, and my own wolf rose hungrily to the surface. Everything sharpened as he devoured me, the urge to sink my fangs into him nearly overwhelming.

“I need-” I broke the kiss on a gasp, the burning need demanding to be sated.

“What do you need, little mate? It’s yours.”
