Chapter 97 – Shadowed Bond with Her Alpha

“Raaaaa” I hear and look up at the little monster bouncing and tackling me and Alarick.

“RAAAA” Alarick growls as he grabs the three children and starts tickling them. “What have I told you about bouncing on the bed and waking your mother while she is carrying your little sisters?” He asks them.

“Not to do it.” One of the kids shout.

“Exactly. Now go get ready for the day, it’s family day.” He says as he sets the children down and they start yelling in excitement out of the door. He looks over to me and smiles, leaning over to kiss me then moves to my bulging belly.

“Goodmorning, my queen.” He says huskily.

“Good morning… My king.” I say back, kissing him again.

In the four years since we have mated we have had 3 children, all within months of each other. Because the pregnancy is only 5 months for wolves they are all close in age. Three rambunctious boys with twin sisters on the way. These girls are going to be so spoiled and protected they won’t know what to do.

It turns out that the night of Maleena’s party Amara finally was able to reject her mate, and her second chance was Markus. They just had their second child and are still bickering like always, but it’s more out of love now instead of hate.

Maleena graduated the top of her warrior class and is now the top trainer for tracking, while Lucas is in the new enforcer position. He goes around to each pack ensuring laws are being followed and enforces them when they are not. It requires a lot of travel, but Maleena only has to be her for part of the year for training so she goes with him a lot.

Garret and his mate, Nina, are doing well. They have another child on the way as well. Turns out I get along with Nina very well. She is very headstrong and gives Garret a run for his money.

Garret’s sister Kyndra is hilarious as well. All of us girls, Me, Kyndra, Amara, and Nina, hangout at least 2 times a week to give us all a reprieve from the kids and to have fun. Everyone is doing as well as can be expected with all of these kids running around.

Also in the four years Alarick and I have cleaned up all the packs, ensuring that there is fair treatment across the board. What the packs were lacking before was reprimand and involvement from the royal pack. All of the hunter’s have been eradicated and we have a more peaceful relationship with witches and wizards. Everything I want to do is not complete and we still have a long way to go but we have made a lot of progress.
