After pointing this out to Dad, his Wolf roars in anger, and I call in the Warrior I shared Jane with. I hope he can tell me more about those Warriors and Keir.
A knock on the door tells me that he has arrived, and I get up to open the door for him. He introduces himself to Dad as he sits down in the other chair.

“I think that he treated all of us the same. He wanted us to push ourselves to the limit, and he could always see what someone needed to work on. He never made me feel as if I was less than one of the others, and he was always genuinely interested in us. He would sometimes just take time during training to talk.
The only one he showed an extra interest in was Lance. It started about two months ago, and for the life of me, I still don’t understand why,” Micheal says, and I thank him for his time before I dismiss him.
The moment he closes the door behind him, I look at my Father. “Dad, he must have found Lance after Jane rejected him. There is no other explanation,” I say.
Dad knew that Jane had rejected her fated Mate, but he had never known who it was, and for a moment I see shock flashing through his eyes.
“Son, no one remembers this, and I want to keep it that way, but there is something you should know about Lance.
